You missed the point that kitchen knives is great with the blight trophy since it both gives enemies blight and gives you chances to resist blights.

Foetor is basically Weald on steroids. Lots of blight, tons of diseases, enemies that aint dangerous damage wise but get strong alot the more the fight drags on. Also that cart eneny? Ye that thing can rot in hell. Edit: By damage wise I meant how they arent able to decimate your team 1-3 rounds as spiders, Fisherfolk or battalion.

I feel like weald is full of giganasty specialized enemies but foetor is full of easy all arounder enemies that any team can deal with a bunch of ways.

I just went through a another full playthrough of all 5 acts and did not go to this place ONCE. Idk if it’s just me but besides the area boss this is the most dangerous and annoying area with all the diseases and stress 🤣

I love your guides (I listen to them all the time until my weekend lol) but I want to point out that in your advice on tackling the Harvest Child there was unfortunately no mention (i could be wrong of course) that he gets 2 actions a turn which is HUGE: I've died because I thought bringing only 1 or 2 heros with movement or trap tokens would be ok and then didn't realize this baby can schmove it to the front very easily with 2 turns a round. Your guide is still great to listen too I learned new things, but I think if players want to mitigate the bs of their movement or traps being resisted and then eating a maws of life hit we need to know that the baby can move twice. Bringing more mitigation than just a leper and occultist with bash and daemons pull respectively is, to me anyway, highly recommended

Funnily enough, I hated the Weald but quite enjoy a Foetor run, used to regularly farm it first region for the health trophy before it was patched. Usually deal with most encounters in 1-2 turns, even when running PD+Flag teams. No particular skill or tactics, just lucky with the RNG.

Foetor is haaaaard only region i haven't mastered yet the constant need to deal with blight and position shuffling makes it the worst region imo

Shuffle! Now that the game has been on console and there have been many changes to hero balances in the past year, please make many guides 🙏🏻. You were the biggest help for me learning dd1. A good example of what im talking about is that MAA is a starting charcter console players will use. He has no good representation. Any videos are about his op vanguard a year ago and MAA is drastically different now. Us vanguard tree seems bad, but admittedly is hard to use.

This was such a good video man. I just finished my first grand slam and I did it in combination with 4 other achiements, a couple related to crusader and highway man. I'm trying to do the 3 lairs in 1 run achievement now and maybe combine it with full bad relationships when entering the mountain. Do you have any tips for getting either achievement and particularly any advice on how to properly deal with the dreaming general? I find him to be the toughest boss and the one that gives me trouble most often.

Nice job on the achievements. For the 3 lairs in 1 run, shroud is off limits in region 1. The rest comes down to items you can get, paths, and if BH is available since he almost solos a region 1 boss. For the clash, I don't have it yet either. I'd probably spam pass on everyone at the last cultist node if there's a cherub left. Need some heals to survive that though For general you need 3 people that can hit rank 4, or combat items that you can throw at the root. Just hit it twice a turn. You can do it with 2 people but the more the better tbh. Occultist, PD, deadeye GR, and sharpshot HWM can cleave it too. Banneret crusader is another

Foetor is the most unbalanced Region in the game Heals+Regen? Check. High Dmg? Check. Huge DOT? Check+ ( Butcher, Maid, Lady do 4 Blight and 4 Bleed). Stress? Check. Movement skills? Better than the Shroud ( check the wiki)

I got lucky. I used: Basic Grave dead eye in rank 4 Basic Jester virtuoso rank 3 Full Crusader templar rank 2 2 story Vestal chaplain rank 1 .... The jester goes first and set up my crusader and basically because of those two i was able to only eat twice. I didnt have reliable healing so i just attacked the boss full tilt. So lucky.

The game was just released on consoles and is scheduled for a DLC and major new mode this year. So I will say Red Hook is still very much actively working on DD2.
