Fucking LOVE this. It’s perfect story telling. Creepy, and melancholy. Adachi isn’t *just* “evil” he loathes himself. His misanthropy is a lie. He comes to care for Yu, Dojima and Nanako but he can’t allow him to feel. Adachi IS a cruel and crazy killer, but he still can invoke empathy from his trauma and how it shaped him. With the right direction he could have become anything else yet he refused the best guidance he had, all to end up alone. His dance (called isolation moves in dance) is a symbol to his own isolation, in a world of his own making.

What I love about the Adachi social link in Golden is that Yu befriends Adachi but never really understands him until far later, I love how he never gives up on his bond with Adachi even when Adachi will always sway him away, though at some level he wants to be more like Yu

​@@JaredCarlos-he3zv I mean Magatsu Izanagi has both physical and magic damage so if Akechi uses one Adachi uses the other also while Akechi is smart it is directly said the cases he solved were fake while Adachi actually was a detective who would've actually solved cases and unlike Akechi who was just given a persona Adachi has one that's also closely tied to Amano Sagiri so Magatsu Izanagi is by base insanely powerful compared to Loki and their backgrounds would give Adachi the experience and intellect due to actually being a detective
