The Folly - A Ghost Story for the New Year by Chris Halton (a ghost helps solve her own murder)

Following the classic Christmas ghost story tradition, I penned a new ghost story for the New Year. It is set on an English country estate in the Victorian era. The protagonist, a Vicar, shares in a letter to a friend a ghostly experience involving the mysterious appearance and disappearance of a lady he sees entering a Temple folly on his brother's estate. This triggers an intriguing murder mystery ghost story that will hopefully keep you on the edge of your seat to the very end.

I listened to the entire story before I realized that you wrote it-I listen to a lot of classic ghost stories and I assumed this was one! It’s very well structured and while listening I felt like I was watching a movie in my head. The characters of the two brothers are clearly defined and the contrast between them gives an enjoyable tension to the narrative. 👍👍
