I love Shur on the show. Anytime. Can’t wait to get his book. To him and Mike Ryan I share the following - I am a Red Sox, although not the historian that Shur is. But I include Mike Ryan bc I’m a fan by an unconventional reason. My dad - rip - became a fan as a kid bc his fav team was always the team in 1st. His brothers teased him abt it so the next week the paper came, the next team in 1st was going to be his favorite. And he stuck w it. To this day I’m still a Red Sox fan. Glad that he got to see their 1st championship win since 1918 and almost as important, being down 0-3 to the Yankees only to come back and be the only team to do so!!
