I just tried the new Speedflows and the puma 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1 at a store yesterday and My “personal” favorite was the puma 1.2. I wanted to like the adidas because of the tech, but to me they feel like race runners(which come with carbon in the soul), which from my experience hurt your feet after use, and should only be used on special/important games to make you slightly more explosive. Why I picked the puma 1.2, 1. The soulplate is So light and flexible. 2. The shoe stretches alittle more then the others to form better for your foot. But definitely no where like a Leather cleat. 3. The way the the shoe grips my heel, is way better then the adidas because the adidas pad is too low for my heel. 4. It’s Wider but not too wide. 5. The togue or top of the shoe is much more comfortable and forms better to provide the best fit. (Same with the 1.3) 6. The price, got them for $129 on dickssporting goods, and there shipping is very good.

For my foot, it felt better. But also in defense of the 1.3 I believe the store didn’t have my size, so I may have been a half size down I tried on. Your best bet is to try them all at a store near you.

Hi, thanks for a great review. With regarding to size, I have trouble with selecting the correct size. I bought Puma Ultra 1.3 size 8 US, (40.5 EUR) to my son. He felt they fit perfect in length but a little bit tight in midfoot. As he plays most of the game on AG pitches, he would like to wear an AG boots instead of FA/AG from Puma. So we bought new one, Nike Phantom GT 2 Pro size 8US ( 41 EUR). They fit even worst. So I just wondering if he needs to go up one size for Nike Phantom GT2? Thanks
