Joshua marking the place where the pillar of fire and cloudy pillar or Shekinah stood in each camp. Joshua had the Tabernacle and inside was the Holy of Holies and within that was the Ark. The symbolism may mean that this is where YWH walked with the people and protected them with his glory.

I like how you are thinking. But remember that the cloud and pillar did not follow them into the Holy Land. I think that it is very possible though that the Tabernacle was set up inside this complex.

Amazing video, I have been to Mount Gerizim in 2012, and visited the footstep and the altar of Joshua. Indeed I know that there is also a footstep around the old city of David. We had a guide named Mickey who told also about the book written by Adam Zartal. about the footprints. This video is mind blowing! I’m from Holland and loved to see this video. My first thought when I saw the drone shots that the area was used as a ancient permaculture site. Hence the flooding we see today may have once been captured stored and diverted into the ground to raise trees for fruit and other seasonal crops..

So I’ve been on a journey watching biblical archaeological dig videos. Sadly i came across a video where these two guys were mocking a dig video. I started reading the comments and i realized something. Sooooo much negativity and hate being spewed in those comments. It made me sad and angry at the same time. For one they are essentially discrediting our lord and saviors death on the cross for our sins and rebirth. Secondly it made me realize something else. When i come to a site like this one here and i read comments , it’s soooooo full of positivity and love !!!! So i said to myself, even if a God didn’t exist at the end of life on this planet, what would i rather be a part of ? I would rather try and live right, follow a guideline presented in a book that was written because of the words of a being that loves us so much he came to this planet we live on and died a terrible death so we could be forgiven for our short falls and given new life after death. Through following that guideline i would treat others with respect, kindness, compassion, love. I don’t see how that’s a losing way to live ??? How can those who don’t believe in a God , live life how they want and MOSTLY without the things i just mentioned like compassion, love , respect etc. how can they possibly feel good about how they lived their lives ????

Thank you for your openness. I was saved from a drowning accident when I called out to God. Something black in the spirit was holding me down on the sea floor and I was about to swallow sea water. When I called on God a golden being threw it off my back and I popped up to the surface and gave my life to God. Several years later I inherited my portion of our family inheritance so I bought a little section of land near where I grew up and I prayed for God the Father to accept it in the spirit Ruach HaQodesh as my part of our family inheritance at the ends of the Earth, because the fullness of the Earth belongs to Him. As I prayed the realms opened in the spirit before me and a huge golden foot came down and stood on the 1/4 acre section. In the spirit I looked up and the golden figure stretched up so high into the clouds, I couldn't even see his face. I started to shake as I realized God had accepted my humble offering and I thought He must have sent His territorrial angel to stand there on His behalf. Actually, I am a Christian but God advised me to keep His feasts which I don't know much about yet. I also later asked Him that if He had one foot on this land, where was His other foot coming down? I saw the massive golden being again and the other foot came down in front of the mountains which means it stretched from the sea to the mountains. I asked Him, who was over there and He breathed into me that it was another member of my family who had also made a similar dedication of land! As another confirmation, when I went to the local town council about my section it was number 7 on the road but the numbering was weird as it was numbered 13 then 7 then 9. I was joking to people that they had a bad day at the office when they drew up those plots of land! Later I understood from the Father that it was His sign to me that His land would be at number 7! What can I say!!!

Walking in a circle seems to also be a method for destruction, as the Jews encircled Jericho 7 times before destroying its walls. We also have the custom of a wife to walk around her groom 7 times at the wedding ceremony, but I'd like to think that that is for building or protecting rather than tearing down!

The lesson of Jericho is that if we are obedient to God we can inherit the land without battle. They marched around Jericho in the way they might circle the altar in the Mishkan ans they city fell. It's not that the marching is a means if destruction. It's that when we worship God properly our enemies fall before us.

You can't just call the deity of 3 people "God", it's insulting to the Supreme Being. The mythological creature in Exodus stated exactly what it is when it supposedly said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers-the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob-has sent me to you.’ Did it say "the god of mankind"? Looked like 3 specific people to me, but maybe you can provide an alternate meaning of "the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob". If not, then please stop implying that the creature is the Supreme Being by calling it "God", rather than "a god".
