I like watching your videos - pretty much same as me. TJ, LS Swap, 8.8 rear, Aussie Front locker, Detroit trutrac.

Jerry with all of your mechanical, electrical, fabrication and problem solving abilities you would make an exceptional technical school teacher!
@righand3 жыл бұрын
You know why I watch this channel? Because it’s a one man show that makes shit happen and influences me to go better my skills by myself. Fuck up a few times and rework it.
@MJ-xp9nz3 жыл бұрын
Hahah I like that you accepted defeat in the video. We will do another showdown since you are saying I won on a technicality because of your chain.

Great fabricating as usual Jerry! Can’t wait to see the TJ take on some hard stuff! Your confidence should go way up with the new setup! BTW… I forgot what gears are you running? ❤️🐞

I like the direction your 8.8 swap is going . Those control arms are on point and look really good Jerry . Tomcat always looks so happy when his is in his crib chilling out . Looking forward to your next video my friend . Take care sir.

Jerry, when are you going to take the Arctic Cat out for a rip?
@siliconvalleyengineer58753 жыл бұрын
Wow Jerry, another major tear down and build up, I hope this rear diff project is completed quickly. It would be good to see you get back on the trails, exploring ghost towns and panning for gold.

How do the pinion bearings get oil with that steep diff angle
@ericp8243 жыл бұрын
You can overfill it to get more oil up there. I put 3.5 quarts in my 8.8 although it isn't as steep. I have almost 10,000 miles on it so far without any issues. Bearings are still good and I don't have excess oil weeping out of the seals.
@darylpenner45633 жыл бұрын
@@ericp824 i figured overfilling would be required otherwise wouldn’t think they would survive long not designed to run those angles ordinarily
@BackCountryWrenching3 жыл бұрын
i've heard of people putting 3.5 quarts and that's what i'll most likely do as well

Too late to do but curious why didn’t do a long arm setup. Tjs seem to ride really nice with them. Especially lifted ones, they almost ride like stock again.
