If the guy is going to drive this daily the medium roof and shorter length is ok ish. Maybe the guy should compare this to the short Sprinter if he can’t get it into the garage anyways, I can’t. Dollar for dollar it would be an excellent comparison for the channel especially considering the maintenance costs. I’m coming up on my payoff this fall and seriously considering getting away from the Promaster. I’m looking hard at this AWD Ford or a Gasoline Sprinter AWD ( but I’m finding they don’t make them in the 144 AWD). The 3rd choice is go with the AWD Pacifica and just deal with it. You can’t stand up in it but I’m a single traveler and that way I don’t care and can just let the Tundra sit into retirement. So many options for a daily get away vehicle a guy can use every weekend.

In spite of all the problems, the recalls, and the entire Transit Trail upgrade being exposed as cosmetic and impractical, Ford is still selling this upgrade for custom builds. The nerve of some companies. It's better to get a stock Transit and build it out with aftermarket upgrades. Cheaper, too.

Its a cosmetic package for sure. And a less capable vehicle IMO than cargo with comprable upgrades.

Can you get heated seats? I am 6' 1" is a medium height Transit good. Keeping the over height around 10ft. is important like you said...

What will be the interior height *after conversion. I like the look of the medium height Transit, but am concerned about headroom after floor and ceiling installed.
