After playing with forest king for a while (im level 14) Its def in A tier or S tier in terms of monsters after some patches blade made You cant escape with elevation anymore You can stack Lurking Facade (There is a short timeframe you can escape it while stacking) Ai is somewhat better now but its still bad

Forest King feels like an amalgamation of multiple Monsters gimmicks. You have: EXE's traps in form of the root circle Vapor's Skeleton Spider movement in form of Lurking Heads Rosemary's effect of blinding (somewhat) and damage instead of health drain in form of Glirchy Projectile Ao Oni's chasing potential Also tip : You deal 38 damage instead of 20 when you arent sprinting.

Forest King in my opinion is good. Only thing holding back from being great is the ai for the heads. You think they would be more strong due to being able to trap people but sometimes they bug out and just sometimes go the other way. They are ment to chase people instead of wandering around the map but idk why they just don't really catch most people.

Here's some update things that can be done. 1: make the glitch shot thing a bit stronger like maybe have it take a total of 25 hp away and make the glitch effect more blinding. Oh and so make it so the shot goes straight because I swear the shot hit the floor a few times when I look there. 2: fix the ai of heads a small bit. Sometimes they are janky and need a bit of tweaking.

Here's a tip for forest king, your left click attack deals different damage depending on if you're running or walking. If you are running, you do a headbutt that deals 25 damage, even less than rosemary's left click. While you are standing still or walking, you reach out and attack with your roots, dealing 35 damage.

Recently tho they fixed the head ai. They allow them to phase through walls so now they cant get stuck. Tho they increased spawnable time to 10 but hey it makes him better.
