Well, Dr, I would absolutely agree with you on this being at least one of the best creepypastas ever, if the highlight of the story wasn’t so easy to foresee for me. Perhaps I am the only person who did, but I can’t imagine that being the case. So aside from that it most definitely was an intense moment when they happened upon what they found. I’m trying my best to not give away the whole story in one comment! Aside from that you once again did an excellent job with your narration and overall delivery of this story. And for some reason I kept thinking that it was in Japan? Maybe because of the “suicide forest” that’s located there. As it would seem that simply walking into these woods would be a definite end to anyone! Thanks for all the hard work you put out just because of your efforts to entertain us! And you never fail! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Spider-centaur is one of those oddly specific ideas that seems to pop into our imaginations far more often than I know any logical reason for. There's something deep in the psyche, there, as with any truly worthwhile story, especially in horror. But... would this be horror? I suppose it depends who we ask.

I have a live and let live philosophy regarding spiders. I try very hard not to step on any, even when they are right in front of me as I exit the shower! I do understand how useful they are, and since I live in a rural area, I appreciate that they & the bats do keep the bug population manageable! That said, that story gave me absolute willies! It was a great story, and I really enjoyed it! Thank you!

Good evening Doctor, and Good evening all! Sure that I've heard this one somewhere before, but that doesn't matter, it's a cracking story! I used to have a pet Brazillian Whiteknee Tarantula for years, lived to be about 10, so I'm a big fan of Spoods. Can't really recommend them as pets though, mine was about as interesting as a pet rock. Never moved except at feeding time LOL. Can't stroke them, or play with them as they don't really enjoy human interaction! I started off not really being all that comfortable spiders, but got to the point where I was ok holding 'Fluffy Arse' as she was called. The one REALLY good thing about them as pets, is that they don't require much care, just feed them once every couple of weeks, and keep the water bowl full and clean and that's about all they need other than occasional cleaning of the vivarium, so you CAN go away for a week, and the spood won't suffer from neglect. Anyway....I've waffled on FAR too much so I'll shut up and go away. Hope everyone has a great weekend, we're almost there.....Without any unplanned spider interactions ;)

When I moved into my home about twelve years ago, there was a problem with wolf spiders. So these things look a mix between a spider and a grasshopper. Envision satan's spawn all grown up. These thing can jump so high and they are so unpredictable. Shortly after moving in, I let my nephew eat his dinner in my room where there was another tv (he wanted to watch Big 10, a cartoon). So my niece and I are eating at the table and all the sudden there is this ear piercing scream from my nephew. I'm pretty sure I flipped my plate over getting up and I'm pretty sure I jumped over the lazy boy getting in there. Come to find out, it was one of those wolf spiders on the ceiling having a stare down with my nephew. Oh, yeah, they get on the ceiling....*shudders* (I can't say I blame him for screaming and...also, I had the ghostbusters of spider killers come out after that).
@FlibbybibbyАй бұрын

Depending on where you live, the larger the spider the less dangerous it is to people. For the majority of the world, small spider breeds tend to hurt humans more than the big fuzzy ones. (Eg comparison: huntsman vs black widow)
