The Forests Worth Knowing Atlantic Teachers Tour is a unique Professional Development opportunity for Teachers and Guidance/Career Counsellors to learn about forests and the people who work in the forestry sector every day.
In August 2023, teachers gathered in Truro, Nova Scotia, to learn how sustainable forestry integrates social, economic, and ecological needs across the forest landscape. They returned to the classrooms with the resources to teach students about sustainable forestry.
