Cho still has some weaknesses like cannot sustain the lane forever like ruby, khaleed etc. Also he will have a bad time ambushing enemies if they have skills for check bushing like gusion's, 1st selena's traps and tank's that knows how to check bush. Chou is easily one of the best heroes of the meta (thanks to his mechanics) but the fact that there are a lot of heroes who can outplay/zone him in the early game (like Esmeralda, Aldous, Yu Zhong and etc) makes him a bit of a risky play. (Even more risky cause his playstyle involves fast hands, flicker and freestyle. Freestyle is the most risky since it gives openings to enemies to use purify if they have one which ruins his whole combo.)

Most esme users use purify as their battle spell, so trying to cc chain her is also impossible with Chou. He is like water my friend, you give him a tank item he becomes at tank, you give him assassin item he becomes an assassin, you give him a semi tank and damage item he becomes a sustain. Chou has defense, damage, anti cc, cc, moves fast without a mana. He has bonus damage on airborne, dodge skills and cc like other heroes cannot do. He is the most versatile and resilient hero a multi role fighter. When used right 90% of the time chou will win even 1 v 1.

For me only tank chou is meta, sidelane chou is way to squishy with burst meta, and the marksman getting fed easily with gold lane plus inspire. I've done multiple test in different ranking. Can't carry a 1 v 9. In higher rank where almost everyone can predict ambush damage chou won't shine. High mobility for escaping not chasing targets. Hard to come out team fight alive from mid to late. The condition for him to be op. If you are not lane against tower hugger (p*ssy players) So that you can outplay when they fight back and push early to make use of early advantage Thus snowballing. Can't win against most enemy if not ambush or using flicker. Way to much micro Management and mechanic. (This doesn't apply to chou gods tho. They don't lose) Even zilong performs better than chou. If the enemy pic chou But you want to use him I recommend you to pick JAWHEAD Because JAWHEAD and chou have the same skill and similarities. 1.) Stun displacement Using chou's ultimate you can kick the enemy and go towards the enemy target And jawhead using second skill he can throw the enemy and go towards the target using jawhead's ultimate. 2.) Damage Chou and jawhead have damage using there first skill. 3.) Blink/movement speed Using chou second skill you can scape the clash if your hp is low. And using second skill of jawhead it gives movement speed to him. So chou and jawhead are the same.

Chou is the ideal hero for a number of drafts, he's got tankiness, Damage, mobility, zoning out that specific enemy hero during teamfights like enemy hyper, mage, mm or to protect our own hyper from getting singled out by the enemy in the backlines. In the hands of a good player he's unstoppable, but the hero is only as good as it's user. The only thing missing from him is his Nunchucks 😆🔥hope MOntooN won't nerf him further.. Oh man..
