Thank you for doing a video about the 20s! I LOOOOVE this era ! The Artdeco style, the clothes, the makeup style , the cigaretteholder The "flapper " style .... i could go on and on ! Looooove it! The 20s-40s style also for Men! The dashing Dandy style. So sexy ... i wished they would still style like that 😂

1920 is the year that my great great grandmother was born. She just stopped living on her own, she lives with her her baby sister, she's 88. They both still as she calls it "powders her nose" whenever leaving the house and wears lipstick daily. Revlon's Fire and Ice. She says that all women should have a signature fragrance, hers is the classic... Chanel No 5. Oh, and never leave the house without a handkerchief.

the 1920s were a time of dazzling wonder and deep despair? So just like now, all over again. I love how they looked then. I would rather go back to the 80s than the 20s but I love watching 1920s videos

I love fashion history!♥️ In college I particularly adored the 1790's Directory, 1800's Regency, and 1920's eras! I still deeply appreciate 1920's flappers & luminaries like Josephine Baker, Anna May Wong, & Louise Brooks! ♥️♥️♥️

I love your videos. I'd never heard of boncilla or reguard. Very interesting! It's amazing how women changed in the 20's going from elaborate long hair dos long dresses and corsets to the complete opposite. It must of outraged many in society at the time. Thankyou for your great videos, I just love them 😍

Whenever I watch these nostalgic videos, I can appreciate the attention to detail that people had when it came to dressing. Of course you can still do this if you want to! I also see that the cosmetic products themselves look much sturdier and more ornate which I do like. Everything else- the discrimination of everyone and everything that didn’t follow the norm can go right to the trash.

This was really good. It’s interesting that I recognise so many of the brands from the 1920s and almost none of the ones from the 1980s video. I wonder if there weren’t as many around in the 1920s? Many of them were still available in Australia as recently as the 1970s.

I can remember when adult women would never go out without pantihose so of course as teens we started wearing them as part of growing up... and they were always that unnatural tan colour. I quickly adopted grey ones which were very sophisticated and then black opaques came in and I never looked back. I was born in the 1960s!

💄 Loved it! The 20's are now 100 years old, wow! This one I shared with my Art Deco group and recommended they find your others on the 1920's too, including Bessame and Tangee. You've maybe seen the documentary, "Beauty In A Jar" (free on KZbin), best beauty doc I've ever seen and recommended to all your viewers. Also, "Two Dollars And A Dream" ( also free on KZbin), is a great doc on Madame CJ Walker, the first black American hair and beauty mogul of her time. I think you've mentioned her also, and she would make a fantastic feature video if you have interest in doing one on her. Thanks, this channel is always enjoyable view!🥰
