Mixels is the sole reason why I got into Lego in the first place. (along side The Lego Movie, which had a Mixels short play before the film in theatres) In fact, I had also been influenced by many Cartoon Network Originals like Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, Ed, Edd n' Eddy, Courage, Billy & Mandy, Adventure Time and the like. Even after the franchise is long gone and forgotten, I still enjoy it to this day.

Hey! Just wanted to say that this video was pretty freaking awesome, also ironically published on my birthday! Mixels was such a huge part of my childhood, and also was kind of my first steps into drawing/illustration in general, since the characters were super simple to draw/made out of relatively easy shapes I didn't have any problem sketching them from eye during my elementary school years. I would constantly doodle characters like Flain and Snoof in my English notebook, and I still have those drawings to this very day. People really don't give this wacky series the love it deserves, as Mixels really did stand for the DNA of the LEGO franchise: that sure, you could follow the instructions, but making up your own crazy, funny creations is also really cool too! It was so fun growing up with these silly little characters, but what they did for me, you, and all of the people in the comments was definitely larger than life! Again thank you for making this video, it was a really wonderful trip down nostalgia lane :)

Mixels was a childhood favorite for myself and other commenters. Every day after school, I would tune in to Cartoon Network to see what adventures Flain, Zorch, and Vulk (members of the Infernites group) were getting into. I am grateful to Mixels for introducing me and other KZbinrs to the world of video editing and creativity.

I always thought the concept was really cool, but they sorta shot themselves in the foot with the writing and the huge cast size, plus the age old “Oh, it’s for kids, just make it slapstick. Hello, this is a very good and heartfelt video about a forgotten childhood cartoon, a few months ago I also did a nostalgic review on it and it is still in demand among my viewers from Russia (Yeah, I'm Russian and in 2014-2016 we had our own russian translation of Mixels cartoon and commercials, and Lego sets, respectively, were also sent to Russia (and I'm going to translate my Mixels videos into English in order to spread this topic on foreign KZbin)). I met Mixels franchise in march of 2014, when I was 5 years old, I played Lego Mixel Mania browser game and really liked it. Then, I found out that there is an animated series made by Cartoon Network, and after that I became a fan of this franchise The cartoon was good, I also really liked it and in 2014-2015 I actively followed everything related to this franchise. It's a pity that Cartoon Network tried to erase the traces of its existence, because even today, a real masterpiece can be made from the concept of the series.

I think the main problem with Mixels is that the show didn't really knew what to be First it was shorts, Then the shorts got longer, But then the moon episode came and it became a longer story with some short segments, But then the endings scene showed something greater, Then the "Mixamajig" episode came, And Mixopolis was created, Then the Knight episode was created, It now was a "Down to earth" cartoon with a main protagonist, Camelot, But then Booger was the protagonist, And it ended with him, The main problem was that the series didn't stay consistent.

I really loved how unique each and every Mix was: - the Cubits were always simple but effective - and then always something different and completely unexpected jumpstarts the mix - the mixed-up letters I found cute and charming(and fitting for obvious reasons), and for some reason I always sounded out the result, which was always good fun - but then the final product combined not only their components and designs, but each creatures' abilities, both their tribe's specialty and their individual talents. The concept may not have been original anymore even back then, but I think kid me would agree that they nailed its execution with flying colours
