I completely agree. The Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary is the solution. At the moment, we Catholics need to take a good look in the mirror before making judgments of those in other denominations.
@Steve_Milo7 ай бұрын
Yes everyone needs to look in the mirror. The fact that we have to be mindful of ourselves doesn't change the fact the Church has dogmatically condemned those in other denominations. If you are a Protestant, a pagan, a Jew, a schismatic, or a heretic you are going to hell if you do not first join the Catholic Church before death. No one, no matter how great his alms giving, even if he shed his blood in the name of Christ can be saved, unless he is first joined to the Catholic Church before death. This is a dogma, if you reject it you are not Catholic. Do not defend those in other denominations, if you do so you become a heretic yourself so says St Pope Leo II.

{6:54} Then Jesus said to them: Amen, amen, I say unto you: except you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you shall not have life in you. {6:55} He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood hath everlasting life: and I will raise him up in the last day. John 6:54-55 Only Catholics can enter heaven because only the Catholic Church has the valid sacrament of Holy Communion.
@RogelioCaballero-wv8ci7 ай бұрын
I agree that only Catholics enter Heaven but what you say is technically incorrect. The priests of many branches of the Orthodox schismatics can confect validly the Eucharist. However, the Orthodox schismatics, if they die outside the Church, will not be saved.
@lukebrasting51085 ай бұрын
That's false. The Church doesn't teach that the Eucharist is absolutely necessary for salvation. In fact, the Council of Trent teaches the opposite. When Christ said "unless YOU eat" He was talking to a specific group of people. He wasn't making a general statement for each and every individual that would ever live.

Thank you very much, Reverend Father Isaac Relyea😇🙏, for this Holy Sermon😇🙏❤️. I think that in all Churches and Chapels, priests should preach sermons in the passionate and zealous way that you preach, long and holy sermons, not short sermons, and without fear of speaking, as the salvation of souls is at stake. Whenever I listen to your sermons, or sermons from other Reverend Fathers, when you/they are about to finish preaching, I feel sorry, because I would be able of listening to you/ them for hours and hours, without getting tired. The Word of God😇🙏❤️ is our True food, food for our souls🙏 That Jesus 😇🙏, Mary😇🙏 and Joseph 😇🙏, bless and protect you always 🙏 Greetings from Portugal.

They are irregular but they are in communion with the church
@monicarose2907 ай бұрын
Irregular? Seems we are irregular from the Faith of Our Fathers. Consider just one item: the Mystery of our Faith. It is not “We proclaim your death Oh Lord and profess Your resurrection until You come again.” The mystery of our faith, what makes us Catholic and which no one else believes is Christ Truly present Body Blood Soul and Divinity on the altar. AND why was it added to the New Mass, was not in Pope Pius V missal? Why do the Protestants say the same thing we say? Mary Queen of Heaven pray for us.
@horizon-one7 ай бұрын
Lies are spread about the SSPX. They are not in schism. Pope Benedict XVI confirmed in a letter to the Bishop of Hawaii that the SSPX is not outside the Church. The excommunication of Archbishop Lefebvre (founder) was lifted in early 1990's. Pope Francis gave the SSPX faculties for Confession and Marriage. The standard of SSPX Priests is high. I've met several SSPX Priests and found them outstanding in every way. I have not met ever in my life any Priests as good as the SSPX Priests I've encountered. My faith has grown and strengthened because of them.

No they are not in schism. Pope Francis gave them faculties which shows Christ despite the human calibre of a Pope will work through that Pope for the good of His Church.

As someone who is coming from paganism, seeking Christ now, and looking at the Catholic Church, may I suggest anyone else in my boat refrain from watching or listening or reading anything about the current politics in the Church because it will get confusing. Read the catechism, go to RCIA, attend mass, talk to priests but stay away from internet arguments because we're not experts and we're still learning.

Exactly. The laity shouldn't be involving themselves in Church politics, canon law and deeper issues of theology when they're not educated on those topics, let alone catechumens.The average Catholic doesn't even know the differnce between doctrines and discplines and formal and material schism and formal and material heresy, yet I see them running around online misinterpreting the Church's salavtion dogma thinking it means that all those that have failed to step foot in a physical building owned by Catholic Church will lose their souls. No salavtion outside the Church isn't referring to the physical institution known as the Catholic Church, but to the Mystical Body of Christ. The Church is both visible and invisible, physical and metaphysical and it's possible to be untied to the soul of the Chruch, which is the invisible aspect, without being a formal card carrying member of the visible instituion with its brick and mortar churches and clerical heirarchy. Rather, those whose souls are united to Christ through sanctifying grace, which is the life of the soul, and are participating in the divine nature, are members of the Mystical Body, which is the Church. The only thing that can separate one from the Church is formal heresy, formal schism and apostasy. So while Protestantism is heresy, that doesn't mean that each and every individual Protestant who finds themselves in one of the many different sects of Protestantism is necessarily an evil heretic and lost. Some were born into their sect and raised in it through no fault of their own and don't know any better and think what their beliefs and practices are authentically Christian. There's no bad will on their part, they're just honestly mistaken in their beliefs because they were taught falsehoods and hold to them innocently. God doesn't condemn people for making honest mistakes in good faith.

Please tell me if I’m wrong. I understand that those people that are in pure ignorance of the truth will be judged accordingly. However anyone who comes to know the teachings of the Catholic Church or is aware of them and denies Jesus and those teaching would be destined for hell.
@horizon-one7 ай бұрын
That's correct. Anyone who has rejected the Catholic Church is destined for Hell. As Fr. Isaac explained, Christ will prompt a person's conscience with Grace to return to or enter the Catholic Church. If they overlook or reject that Grace or are obstinate, they make their choice for damnation. If a person is confused but sincerely trying to determine truth and the true Church and seeks Christ's assistance sincerely and ardently in prayer, Christ will recognize such a struggle and provide aid (such as sending a teacher or guide or infuse the knowledge etc) to guide such a person to the Catholic Church. Remember, God allows us to use our free will, so He does not 'force' a person. Praying to the Blessed Virgin Mary is efficacious. It's important to be sensitive to Grace and not obstinate but use reason and study to work things out and make our choice. Unfortunately, we are living in dangerous times when the hierarchy of the Catholic Church is infiltrated with its enemies leading many within the Church astray. In the midst of this turmoil, the Extraordinary Magisterium and Faith handed down remains untainted and pure, protected by the Holy Ghost. However during this time of trial in the Church which Christ has permitted, it is a time where merit can be gained by remaining in the Church keeping the unadulterated Faith in the midst of the trials. Many have fallen away from the Church which is what the devil wants. Such people fail the test making the choice to leave Christ. Christ has raised up Fraternities in the Church which continue with the traditional, uncorrupted teachings, Mass and Sacraments e.g. SSPX. They are the best places to go. Having a copy of the Catechism published before 1960 is helpful to keep attuned to the traditional Faith. It is important to know the 255 infallible dogmas, accept and believe them. They are 'de fide'. To willingly reject any dogma is to commit heresy and place oneself outside of the Church. Christ taught we are to "strive to enter the narrow gate". It's not a leisurely stroll!
@simonslater90247 ай бұрын
@@horizon-onetragically even the Catechism of the Catholic Church has heresy and blasphemy in it though i will say that 99.9% of this book is excellent. God bless.
@lukebrasting51085 ай бұрын
It depends if they're in formal or material schism or formal or material heresy. It's only the formal kind that severs one from the Mystical Body of Christ, which is the Church. Read the article on heresy in the 1917 Catholic Encyclopedia. It explains all this, and the new Catechism has a few paragraphs on formal and material heresy as well.

I am confused Fr. Isaac. I believe you when you say that outside the Catholic Church there is no salvation. And I do this because it is not your opinion but what the Catholic Church has always taught. Whilst at the same time JPII gathered all the religions at Assissi and he spoke of ecumenism. But we as true Catholics cannot accept other religions. And what do we have to say about that large buddha statue that was placed on the Catholic altar with JPII in front of it. And how come he was made a saint in such a short time? And was he a real Pope or an antipope? That is why I am confused as these things do not make any sense. Laudetur Jesus Christus 🙏

Saint John Paul II was a good Pope, and a brilliant theologian. Please understand that he was human and made mistakes. Vatican ll, from its very beginning, was to be a pastoral, not doctrinal, council. Any interpretation of V2 that would bring in doctrine that is different than what the Church has always taught is a false interpretation. JP ll misused ambiguous passages in V2, especially from "Nostra Aetate", to permit interfaith religious worship, which is deeply sinful and blasphemous. Please pray for his soul. I believe he meant well.

The following is a solemn declaration (infallible) by a Roman Pontiff (Eugene IV): "[The Roman Catholic Church] firmly believes, professes, and proclaims that those not living within the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also Jews and heretics and schismatics cannot become participants in eternal life, but will depart “into everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels” [Matt. 25:41], unless before the end of life the same have been added to the flock; and that the unity of the ecclesiastical body is so strong that only to those remaining in it are the sacraments of the Church of benefit for salvation, and do fastings, almsgiving, and other functions of piety and exercises of Christian service produce eternal reward, and that no one, whatever almsgiving he has practiced, even if he has shed blood for the name of Christ, can be saved, unless he has remained in the bosom and unity of the Catholic Church." Please consider these words, which constitute the magisterium of the Church, vs. the last sentence of what you wrote ("Prots are saved"), which is just your opinion.

Are some protestant baptisms valid? The Church says yes. If this is so then they are baptized into the mystical body of Christ (which is the Catholic Church) wether they no it or not. Also, there is the baptism of desire that could come into play.
