0:47 you know that's awesome you bring him back that way I know this was a year ago mike, but the same time I remember in the 90s when I first learned about that and figuring out how to use a offset hook waited to be able to do that. That was before I learned about nail weights and everything. So we would actually just put split shots on our ewg's to achieve the bait falling backwards underneath docks, B4 skipping was a common practice

hello Mike. they made that lure some time ago and called it a centipede.i have bunches of them in cotton candy I use at Smith mountain lake va. cotton candy is great in clear water. I use them on Caroline rig and a drop shot. really like your program

+1 As always Mike. What I like to do is my flouro to braid leader, I like to use enough leader to get five or six turns of the leader on my baitcaster. It seems to help to get that rotational energy transformed to lateral energy going to skip if that energy is already going out before the knot passes the guides. Of course your use may vary; it works for me. Today's 6 lb. braid on the latest baitcaster reels have changed the whole game in just the last thirty days of production. Seems it's like a computer or a car, by the time you get them home they are obsolete.

Great video. Great technique. But we were using this technique back in the 1980's using mono. It back glided just fine. We didn't have floro back then. I think it's more to do with line diameter.

Great video. Can't wait to try it at my favorite NJ spots. Only problem is I can only find that particular flat sided lugworm on e-bay. The other lugworms on the market look round and have ridges toward the end. Any substitution suggestions? I'm figuring I could at fish a stick bait backwards with a nail in the front of a stick bait, trimming off off the back, and hooking through the trimmed off end.

I see Taku throwing dice -Should we all take the dice hanging on our rear- view mirrors and stick them in a jar of Uncle Josh Pork Rinds?? these Japanese Baits seem to arouse the Curiosity of the fish because They havent seen these before- Does that mean If the fisherman over here- Using New baits made by U S companies -Goes over to Japan for a Tournament and Kicks ASS because these fish are not conditioned yet to avoid these baits?- In regard to Fall fishing how important is the thermocline in keeping fish towards the bottom as the surface cools and they try to find the warmest layer of water and how do you identify where that thermocline starts??

Ike, stop making people wait so long for the stream. Set the reminders for the morning, scheduled for the same evening. Do it consistently. You'll see actual regulars showing, because they'll be more predictably scheduled. Maybe choose a day of the week like a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night.
