As a descendant of David, God used Joseph to fulfill prophecy and honor His covenant to the Jewish people. God's selection of Joseph was just as significant and His selection of Mary. And he was always obedient and faithful. He never doubted. It's really inspiring.

I like his message but he missed one important point. Had Joseph not already been a righteous man who was knowledgeable of the scriptures, especially the prophet Isaiah, he might not have received the word delivered by God's angel. That's why it's important for us to be well studied and living holy lives, to be fertile ground for the messages of God.

Boys were taught very well in the scriptures and most men by the time they were Joseph's age would be very familiar with scripture, including Isaiah, which is one of the reasons Joseph could hear what God was asking of Him. Joseph's righteousness and faith in God speaks to his obedience to listen, obey, and believe all the scripture that he knew about the Messiah. God knew the heart of the man He chose to protect Mary and raise His son.

Not the same Joseph. You are thinking of Joseph in the Old Testament. That Joseph died at 110 years . Look at Genesis Chapter 50.

Jesus wasn't born on Christmas, evil was. Why do good pastors keep this lie going for all generations?? You cant mix a little untruth in with Truth and still call it good.
@tracyeilers67811 сағат бұрын
Everyone knows Jesus wasn't born on December 25th. But thankfully, our God created every day and He is the owner of each day and therefore regardless of which day we choose to celebrate the holiday, that day, and all the days, belong to Him, regardless of how Satan tries to pervert them. Jesus has defeated all evil, it has no power over us.

Relax. I have the same option, yet I do celebrate Jesus's birth daily😇😎
