What an incredible video. Being Canadian, my studies of science and mathematics were viewed through the lens of the standard Eurocentric views. I had no idea of how developed science and mathematics were in India. Thank you very much for sharing this knowledge and making it more accessible.

Bhaskara (in 1050) is though to be the first to show that: Differentiation of sin x = cos x Evidence suggests Bhaskara was fully acquainted with the principle of differential calculus, and that his researches were in no way inferior to Newton's, asides the fact that it seems he did not understand the utility of his researches, and thus historians of mathematics generally neglect his outstanding achievement, which is extremely regrettable. Bhaskara also goes deeper into the 'differential calculus' and suggests the differential coefficient vanishes at an extremum value of the function, indicating knowledge of the concept of 'infinitesimals'

Number system that we use today have its origins in india. Negative number and decimal number also have it's origin in india. Word decimal comes from sanskrit word dasmalava.

The word "Discovery" in Renaissance europe meant anything newly found by European Christians as per the Church. So offcourse, nobody else discovered anything.

Alexander the Great did not "introduce" science or knowledge to India; rather, his invasion was largely focused on conquest, (which he failed) not cultural exchange. The claim that Alexander brought Greek science to India is a misconception and a part of the Western narrative that often downplays the independent achievements of Eastern civilizations. India, long before Alexander’s time, was a hub of advanced science, mathematics, astronomy, and architecture. For example: Mathematics: Indian mathematicians like Aryabhata and Brahmagupta developed concepts such as zero, the decimal system, and advanced trigonometry. Aryabhata's "Ardha-Jya" (half-chord) became the sine function in trigonometry, centuries before this was introduced to the West through translations of Indian texts. Astronomy: Indian astronomers calculated the Earth's circumference and proposed heliocentric theories long before Copernicus. Engineering: Temples like the Brihadeeswarar Temple and Konark Sun Temple reflect advanced knowledge of structural engineering and solar alignment, unparalleled in their time. Western colonial powers, rather than contributing knowledge, extracted resources, appropriated knowledge, and often erased the contributions of civilizations like India and China. Works like the Sūrya Siddhānta and the Aryabhatiya influenced the Islamic world, which later transmitted these ideas to Europe. @RaphaelAlbarnoz, the speaker in the video is neither confused nor inaccurate. India's rich legacy combines both legends and documented history, evident in the knowledge and monumental architecture "littered" across the subcontinent. It’s time we give credit where it’s due and recognize India’s significant role in shaping global scientific and mathematical progress. Amazing work young lady keep up the good work.

@@SatishKumar-rn2zp You are a mythomane. The concept of ZERO existed in Anciant Egypt and MESOPOTAMIA...........Every culture has a concept of ZERO.Suppose you Gupta developped the concept HOW Indians wrote 10 20 30 60 70............They didnot use ZERO as ALKHAWARIZMI use it..........The India narrative is wrong........There are no WRITING SYSTEM before Alexander conquest..........All Mathematic of India came from Alexandria Egypt..........
