What is the relevance of Hulk staring at wood and the growth in the screenplay? Because his father works on jellyfish, starfish, sea cucumbers, and lizards (to be able to sustain toxicity) only.

Also it’s the banner part of him manifesting & coming out too as well. His humanity. Also thinking about it, it also connects & relates to his mother too since she gardens in the movie. His peace. Just thought about this in the moment lol

It's Banner looking at the moss and plants. He's shown to grow moss and plants early on in the film and it's also a sign to show that Hulk is really just the child self of Banner that was buried by his father's abuse. The big guy is peaceful by nature, he only becomes dangerous when provoked.

@@dangibson3316 from some discussions I’ve had with others ir might be because audiences just aren’t as afraid of nuclear warfare anymore? When the original,hulk,comics came out nuclear weapons where still a new and scary thing, but in the modern era they’re just not as big a part of the public consciousness, even tho arguably we should be more afraid now then we where before lol

@@tannerbruning868 I mean makes sense the cold war isn't a thing anymore and people get scared of new things all the time. Sometimes when people try to update characters they do so with more modern ideas and fears.

@@dangibson3316 yup, which makes sense given hulk is in essence a monster meant to represent peoples fears, Unfortunately the movies still haven’t effectively utilized his horror aspects as well as the comics do And honestly i wouldn’t mind more practical affects for hulk, obviously not for the fight scenes but I feel like they could do the Jurassic park approach where they mix practical affects and CGI

I blame the failure of Super Hero movies in the 90’s on The Fantastic Four movies. God they were all so bad. No wonder no one wanted anything to do with super hero flicks after those disasters came out.

I don’t care what anybody says this and Superman Lives were going to be awesome. That animatronic incredible Hulk looks so realistic and bad ass. It would’ve been cool if they made him gray as well like the original appearance before the printer ink turned it green. Also, Billy Crudup is a pretty good casting.

I think a large part of the failure in Hulk movies is the Betty Ross issue. So many times it just devolves into the tired ass trope of Bruce Banner whining about Betty Ross. Blah, blah, blah. So boring. Is there any way we can eliminate her from cannon?
