Worth noting that sandstorm didn’t just become one of the best brawlhalla players in the world, or even the best player in the world, but the undisputed goat of that game. Like, won over 300 grand from tournaments across his career good. He even had a brief stint with smash ultimate in which he was able to beat several top players there as well. If you ever make a part 2, you should include Satcho! He was an amazing 120hz player back in like 2016-2017, and he was one of the very early Bloodbath and ICDX victors, and alot of people don't really know about him anymore, he came back a lil bit around 2019-2020 and he beat Digital Descent, but he disappeared again, but he did comment on a GD video around 3 months ago.

Really great and nostalgic video! Some things I wanna point out that you could've mentioned is that gdsandstorm is also the verifier of The Ultimate Phase because it was hack-verified, beating it on August 7th 2015 and also the only victor of its unnerfed version because it was nerfed on December prior to the second completion, the video of it has been privated fro years but it is possible to watch the 15% of the level on SEAs video of the level. And that BlassCFB straight up quit after beating Sonic Wave because all he really wanted once he became a pro was to beat the top 10 hardest levels, once he did, he left game

my favourite forgotten top player is RPGRaketti, now goes by RakT I think he just sorta stopped playing hard levels. He had a verification called Hushed Halls, a nerfed silent club remake, and he got some cool progress on it, but never pulled through with it. To clarify it was % requirement. I gave up despite decent consistency to the last wave because the only person encouraging me at the time was Akira Kurisu and a friend of mine Deen. Besides that I was in a community full of assholes with people like the person who uploaded Cold Sweat (forgot their name) and that dude that got a good run on silent acropolis. Forgetting their names because I want to forget that whole period. The whole community was against me for trying to get somewhere. Worst game community in history.

@@necrolord5799 Oh yeah definitely in that case. I mean the game is harder in some ways too. I'm struggling to 1 att a fair amount of levels as a star grinder (talking 4-7 stars mostly). Especially with all the new effects (and shit copter gp). Learning curve but that has made it much more difficult. Though the sayo has helped a lot. Demon list is a fucking nightmare now before you could easily grind out most of the levels on there in a week at most. Now they're all very difficult and impressive to beat. Which is cool ig but still rough
