Hard tires nonstop, works on almost every track, so tuning your car to be fast on hard tires is the key to winning. Running hard tires, is also a good way to reduce your chances of getting into trouble with impatient drivers, on mediums, I just let them pass, as I know that I've got them when they need to put. Won the last 10races in the Mazda's,, most by over 10 seconds. Sometimes it's about racing smarter. Keep out of those high risk places where getting it will happen.

I'm not a big fan of it...actually I am. Because you can always make up two or three positions at the end of the race. The hard tires end up being so bad that people can barely accelerate out of a corner. Just had it again yesterday. It's so easy to drive past it, it's really fun. Okay, I also use hards from time to time, but only to switch to softs at some point. No stop is actually the stupidest thing you can do. You have much worse grip throughout the race and then none at the end. What is that supposed to help? A few laps in the lead in the second third of the race?

Okay, maybe it works on the Mazda races. I never do one, cause i didn`t like this cars. And the carnage in this kind of races.

Hello HD, I also really enjoy driving this car and this series. That being said my own personal experience this past week was more of frustration than enjoyment. Literally every race was very dirty and I think my luck finally ran out. To expand, I have watched numerous YT vids where excellent and considerate racers like yourself would get the dreaded. 4.5 second penalty for avoidable contact where it was in no way avoidable. I got a few of these in consecutive races in this vehicle and my safety rating went from S to A to B. I have since recovered however this was the 1st time this has happened to me. I’m definitely playing more Freeplay these days and am now very competitive with level 7 AI, and have actually found that as the AI skill level increases, the more the AI seems to make mistakes and braking times are all over the map. I realize that I am complaining, something i normally try to avoid. Any way thanks for another excellent video!😀👍

Mine dropped from S to C from two races because I kept getting 4.5 seconds for a guy ramming me, then I got DQ’d

My strategy, not always working, is taking defensive lines in the first two, three corners of the race. Assuming you have qualified at least close to the tops. If you survive that, you're likely going to have a clean race. If you remain stucked in mid-end group, you're exposed to frequent mistakes from other drivers. Keeping S as safety rating helps a lot in my experience, but unfortunately the FRR still tolerate some dirty habits from drivers. We know the producer is working on fixing FRR. In the meanwhile, some issues happen also in S class.

I try to be cautious on race starts as well, but as you said, doesn't work all the time. Safety rating S also doesn't seem to do much sadly, I've not dropped out of that for a very long time.

Awesome :D I love Formula Mazda events. Those cars are fun to drive when you understand them. Like you said, small corrections with brake pedal mid corner if your car is rwd will most likely spin you. And that is painful, especially when a player is a beginner on the wheel (like me) and tries to drive without TCS. Ramming was always a problem in forza games, but I'm patient, and it's not a ranked race, so I just keep racing and eventually have a comeback :) Also, I'd like to say thank you to the person (i dont know who) who gifted me membership 💚 Cheers!🏎

Yeah, no matter how chaotic the race, these race cars do not disappoint. 😊 I like your perspective on ramming. I should remind myself more often that yes, there is rating in FM, but it doesn't mean or do anything. Ramming can be frustrating, but I guess if you accept that it's gonna be there, you can more easily still have an enjoyable race. In that case, thanks a lot for membership! I watch almost every video since I found your channel after the game release :) It's great to see a growing community here. I'll get membership in the future, and if it's possible, support you :) We have to remember that Forza games are in gamepass, so part of players have it for "free." Sometimes they might be racing for fun and have lower skill in driving, that's why they ram. At least I explain it to myself like that so I won't be annoyed 😀 And sometimes they are using racing assists, and their cars are sticking to the racing line. You can see it just after the start when some cars are turning to the line right after the lights out. Those cars can ram you because ai wants to keep "the perfect" line. And sometimes there might he some netcode problems. Of course, it doesn't mean that there are no intentional rammers. For me, skill and safety ratings are just indicators of how I drive, and I don't believe that there is a good matchmaking system. But still, this game is enjoyable and a good entry level for simracing. Oh, and I think that in forza, cars are becoming ghosts when there is a big difference in speed between you and a slow/stopped car and game thinks that you'll crash. It's OK system but it might be better sometimes and I hope they are working on it.

Another point about the missing assistence systems we really need like the radar .... i would love to have a weather radar so in wet races we can try different strategies in terms of tire choice. In terms of racing experience, I mostly have clean and quite competitive racing both starting from the front with quali or starting from the back without. Always a pretty nice race at a personal rating of 4.988. But I do get why people are frustrated, I myself would definitely like to see a private multiplayer race like a community race with a lot more laps and maybe even the Nürburgring! Forza GT is still the only category I race in forza and it's always fun, no matter if hotlapping the 911 GT3 R or going competitive.

Yeah, radar is really the one thing I wish they would finally communicate that they work on it. Weather radar would be nice as well. Sometimes you can't even tell how much it's raining for a race start. 🙈

I've honestly not done much multiplayer but thats more down to switching my focus on other games rather than chaotic races. Usually still once or twice a week if there is something that catches my eye, like the current rotating spec series (GTX sportscars). Didn't actually know these were permanent now as nothing was mentioned about it. If i get the chance to do the Eaglerock race in the rotation, i make sure to do it because of how much of a memefest it can be.

@@HDeeRacing i tend to rotate between games that also line up with my interests and depending if there's new content available. Current examples are Need for speed Unbound (new update feat. 3 audis) or World of warships legends. I've also played A LOT of Farming simulator 😅 but for proper racing, i stick to Forza Motorsport.

good base tune, better gearing can win a second a lap. Adjust downforce and gearing per track

In other games the ABS is so much better so you can trail brake much more effectively so you don't need to correct much.

You’re so lucky in the start. I’ve had that happen to me so many times but I also get a 4s penalty 😂😂😂 once I avoided the carnage by going off track (coasting and braking) and got a 1s penalty 😂😂😂

Looks like fun and like some frustrating moments... Those were my favorite cars to drive but like you've said... The brakes mid cornering are weird and the ramming keeps me away sadly... What about some time lap challenge? You vs the community in like ACC and FM? You set the car + track and here we go :D?

honestly the incident at 12:40 ish is a racing incident, especially with the conditions. Not your fault not his fault, just a simple racing incident, Just unfortunate it ended for you the way it did And when it comes to hit or miss, on Forza Motorsport, its the same as GT7. People need to put more time in and get out of there safety ratings and skill rating, To get better races, but Majority of people i know, Give up, because stuff like that happens, yes it is frustrating, But, it does get alot better, i'm at 4900-5000 ans S and i don't really have these issues anymore

The problem with Forza is that the ratings don't do much in my experience. I'm also Safety S and high Skill rating, but still experience this. I think the problem lies in both the penalty system and the matchmaking.

Your much better at getting the handling than me but i find my gearing better for myself. Here's my gearing for anyone to try. Fd - 3.20 1st - 2.85 2nd - 2.00 3rd - 1.50 4th - 1.13 5th - 0.93 (0.91 for daytona)

That sadly is the case, there is at least one driver in every lobby who doesn't care about other players trying to have a good race. On rare occasions you can avoid that, but not often.

Actually in the open lobbies, though I don't drive them often. GT is hit and miss, as is touring cars, even though those can deal with dirty driving better.
