What else is wrong with this narrative? Here's a fact. Casket Keys became widely used in the mid 20th Century and it was common practice to lock the casket so that if the casket were dropped, the loved one would not come rolling out of the casket and create a scene. Caskets are locked after the last showing and before the casket is moved from the room where the deceased was shown. Locking the casket is a prolonged process and can take several minutes or longer to crank the lid shut and locked. They do not carry the casket key with them to the cemetery. If any jewelry is to be removed, it is done prior to the final sealing and locking of the casket, not at the grave side service. Thus, I call BS on this story!

BS or not, there is potential for clues in the story.

@ - True. The clues are the numbers. 55 and 3. But also, the relevancy of burial and cemetery.

My theory is it stands for EE SS 3. It is code for where to enter where to go and which room. Is the Past and Future Box located in a building? My guess is that it is.

There is also a “wedding and funerals” theme; and we know Jon Collins loves his themes …

Jon Collins-Black said in his interview with @cowlazars that he did not hide any treasures in man-made structures.

55 years earlier puts their marriage in 1924. All other sources puts the marriage between Marvin and Lillie in 1927. He’s off by three years. Just saying…. That’s something most people would remember if writing their auto-biography. My parents were married 41 years. So, is there a reason he generalized the number of years to 55? What’s special about 55?

It says “ABOUT” 55 years earlier, he probably rounded up.

The way I interpret this is to focus on the word ring. 55 represents 2 hands. And the word ring is in there 2 times. 5 fingers. 2 rings. Marriage. You “marry” this stuff together. This is pure fenn speak. This is how he talks. He gets you to focus on something strange when it’s actually a formula to focus on the some in plain sight. The entire theme of the Fenn Chase is the beginning and the end. Which would describe the shape of a circle. He gets you to focus on words that have multiple meanings. And you use the stories to add it up to that. This won’t make sense until you see it. The entire focus is a ring. And 55 gets you there. The blaze or ending clue would likely have something to do with a circle or something simple like that. Something that would go unnoticed to a regular bystander, but a huge deal for someone looking for it in a spot they were lead to.

Love this! I’m a first time hunter, so I do tend to get wrapped up in what’s in front of my face rather than interpretation

@@hammertime2665this may sound silly but what about the word finger? I'm trying to see it the way you're explaining cuz it actually makes sense but I noticed that word was also repeated

@themgmtAT did you not do the Fenn hunt because you weren't interested or because you didn't know about it? I only heard of it in August 2017 after reading about a guy who died searching on Yahoo. I then proceeded to put 140k miles on my car and thousands in traveling expenses. Sure there were fun times but I'd rather have the money back.

The olive jar holds the autobiography of Forrest Fenn. The memoir was a fake, and the jar holds the real... The olive jar is worthless unless you like a good story about Fenn. If you all spent more time listening, rather than blabbing, you would know that Forrest used another authors work to make his memoir....it was not original!!!! Hence leaving the real version for the finder... Wouldn't it be helpful to learn about that other book and learn more about how Fenn used it to create his memoir....

But blabbing is my faaaaavoooorrriiiiitteee!

@themgmtAT You are good at it, but seriously.... there is a book out there that answers all the questions related to Forrests Fenns memoir and poem. The nine clue poem is easy once you know the nature of the clues... That is exactly what Jack told me years ago... If you can't solve Fenns poem, what makes you think solving the Fenn/JCB mashup will be easier.??

@themgmtAT I love watching and learning. I hope you didn't take that as an insult. I appreciate it when people do what they love.
