Poor Mike, like he made his own mistakes that he later starts to own and try to fix but in terms of him and Steph I feel like despite his shock here he handled her coming out rather well compared to how most people would, he remains calm and doesn’t lash out at Steph for finally being honest and seems to immediately understand the marriage was doomed from the start even if he had been the perfect husband if anything he must be thinking back to all the ‘clues’ he must have missed

Christina Guadagno "Poor" Mike was an alcoholic who didn't care about his son and his wife, and only decided he wanted to make "things right" (like all of them say) when he realized Stef had enough of it. He would have kept being a terrible husband, and he did that to himself and his family so... Poor is not really the word. He stops being the poor Mike when he decides to put drinking before the people that he should be loving and caring about. He's actually lucky that Stef opened his eyes. If she wouldn't, he would still be a crappy guy, but now, he reconsidered his life and he is fine, so...
