But also she’s always tried and done as much as she could not only for herself but others that shows how caring and helpful she is. Her heart was in the right place when it came to others as their problems mattered more to her than her own. It’s not like she intentionally cheated on purpose especially knowing Aaron kissed her and she having a bad day knowing her secret with Brandon has finally came out in the open as it bit her in the ass being exposed. Now I know everyone likes AJ but in my opinion he’s really not all that and what I notice is the flaws he has and many ppl choose to ignore it, which isn’t fair at all. He’s done foul stuff too you know and he wasn’t anything perfect himself either.

Honestly, I feel the opening of this scene perfectly summed up one of the main issues with their entire relationship: Callie says "I can be pretty sporty, too." iow: The whole time Callie was with AJ it always seemed like she felt the need to explain or prove herself to him (and he to her) and that shouldn't be, when you're in a healthy relationship. People say they have things in common. True. They are both foster kids (and maybe soon will both be _Foster_ kids, literally. Lol.) who went to juvie and have brothers they want to be able to stay with. But their similarities end there. Outside of that, they seemed to have no shared understanding or even general understanding of one another. Just like when AJ tells Callie why he won't "follow her down a rabbit hole" (which he had VALID points!). Or when they argue about Aaron at the fundraiser and AJ makes his idiotic comment (which Callie had VALID points!). Or when he tells her to lighten up about Water Ninja (the same episode in which she later on says "I just wanted to *prove* to you that I can be fun."). Or AJ taking advantage of Callie's kindness and getting her fired and acting as though he doesn't get why she is mad. Or how AJ refused to see her while in juvie because he was embarrassed, but she thought he was angry at her. Or in this very episode, when she tries to get in the shower and he rebuffs her. These two do not understand each other and they never have. Honestly, their relationship felt exceedingly forced to me and I felt like AJ was just there so that we as viewers could see Callie reclaiming and becoming more comfortable with her sexuality, which was fine. But it ended there. And got tedious, to be honest. No chemistry. No connection, other than physical. I think ending due to him kissing another girl is a cop-out because they had wwwaaaaayyyyyy more pressing issues. But, however the break-up had to happen, I am glad that it did. Watching these two together was very tiresome. I only hope they stay broken up and Callie focuses on herself this upcoming season. Because, she clearly needs to spend more time getting to know who she is and who she is becoming, rather than trying to prove who she thinks she is (or thinks she should be) to a guy.

Okay, I don't ship them, but I gotta put in my opinion. First, I call a little BS. Love is never supposed to be easy; it's something you work at daily. If AJ really loved Callie, yes, they'd fight, but he'd try to make it work. But, since he admitted to liking Dawn, maybe this is proof they just weren't meant to be, even though I knew they wouldn't be together forever :\ He had a point about her not really being able to help herself with Troy Johnson; I think she needs some restraint and really needs to focus on herself for awhile, at least until the case is over; her family has enough to deal with. Update: found out he has sex with her prior to this, which kind of makes this worse. Sorry to those who do ship it, but I didn't see a lot of chemistry. I mean, yeah, there was some attraction, and they have similarities, but I don't really see the connection when they're together, just some "cute" moments here or there. A lot of times their fights were petty, not counting the one AJ was trying to get through to her about Troy; I applaud him for that. Tbh, I think Dawn might be good for him.

Ned Johnson I'm 24 I wish I knew what I know now back when I was 17. I had a relationship that was heavy all time and it wasn't fun anymore and it got to a point where I was hardly ever truly at peace. There was always a dark cloud over my head, and there was always drama and I wasnt happy. I didn't realize my full capacity for happiness, peace, and contentment until I reluctantly walked away from that person and it wasnt easy because I still loved them. However they weren't what I needed and they weren't what was good for me. Not say that they were a bad person or that the relationship was always bad because it wasn't but it majorly outweighed the good. Later I met someone who was a breath of fresh air and fun and the relationship was far less complicated and if I had stayed in my previous relationship I wouldn't have felt fulfilled and both of us would have ended up really suffering. So with all that being said I have to utmost respect AJs decision. I love Callie and her character has so much depth but I truly think she needs to get herself straight before she involved with anyone else.

I'm well aware Callie is drama, but I felt like he was the only one besides Aaron (kind of) she could take comfort in, which I don't understand since she says that Brandon is her best friend. ANYWAYS, maybe this can help her focus on herself, as juggling a relationship and going to trial is difficult. I don't even see Jude comforting her, even though he's in a relationship. I hate all these comments about how much they hate Callie. All she ever tries to do is help others with the kindness in her heart because no one ever helped her. AJ, on the other hand, just takes advantage of the kindness. Callie spent the whole relationship being open-minded and trying to prove herself to him. For the kiss, Callie told Aaron she had a boyfriend after, making it really clear so that wasn’t considered cheating.
