Obviously Callie doesn't value her own life. Stef said it herself. People need to understand that she has deep rooted issues and reasons for doing what she's doing. I for one can't wait to see her journey this season and I hope she starts to understand that she's not worthless!

Best part of the epiaode for me. I understand Callie has a hard time believing anything is permanent due to her abusive and traumatizing past, but Stef is right. She has to start valuing her life more 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Finally Stef said those things to Callie. She needed to hear all of that because it's true. Callie keeps putting herself in these dangerous situations. Stef should be more tough on her now and keep more of an eye on her.

I know callie needed this. She needed to be told the truth. But she also needed her mother to hug her. Callie makes these stupid decisions because she doesn't think her life is worth it. Stef is one of the only people to make her believe otherwise. She needed her here.

Stef and Lena are the most understanding, patient parents in the world. They have been beyond patient, (hell of a lot more than I would have been) and Callie STILL cannot make a good choice to save her fucking life. I'm over her self sabotage and then playing the victim, she needs to grow up before it's too late.

valuing others’ lives over your own isn’t a good quality at all. it’s a terrible, destructive one. helping others is good, but if you don’t care about yourself, your view of _everything_ shifts off kilter, and you’re no longer truly helping people.

I have been waiting for someone to say that to Callie. As admirable as Callie’s actions usually are when it comes to these situations, it’s quite obvious throughout the series that she does not value her life. She even said that she does not really care going with Diamond since she was going to jail anyways. It’s like when she was talking to Brandon about Lena and Stef reversing her adoption and Brandon said “You have got to stop thinking that nobody wants you.”

One thing that really bummed me out about this scene was that Callie didn't say something like, "Mom, I'm sorry." She's never called Stef "Mom". She only just called Lena "Mama" at the end of the last season and referred to them both as "Moms" to Brandon beforehand... I just want that moment to happen, and I think it could have happened here...

Yeah, she called Stef "Mom" in 04x20 at the courthouse after they found out that there was footage of Callie breaking in to Doug Harvey's house and they offered the three-year jail sentence. "I can't go to jail...please, Mom." Soft, but it was there. Squee.

i know everyone loves lena thinks she is such a great mom, i think she is a loving mom. but those kids, jesus,mariana, brandon , callie and Jude. but mostly jesus and mariana and brandon. they walk all over and they think their parents equals and they do whatever they want and they get in trouble , they think saying sorry is enough. I like Stef parenting style. she wants those kids take responsibility for their accident . she has every right to yell at them when they do something stupid . then lena comes in and scrowls stef and tells her thats not how to do it. but her way isn't that helpful . sometime lena bothers me. i love stef . lena is the mom all teens want . stef is the mom every child needs. in the past it piss me off how both lena and stef . would always instantly accuse callie of something she didn't do .. it was always mariana. but they always forget mariana patterns and her manipulations. most time Mariana is selfish , she thinks right judgmental judging jesus girlfriend for abortion , everyone else mistakes , but rarely put herself in their shoes.

and yes callie makes so many impulsive decision and like stef said she doesn't value her own life and is so stubborn. but she is the most selfless person . i mean she wants to save people, justice for victims. put alway bad guys. .she doesnt want to cause people pain for her bad decisions. so she thinks she is better off away or dead. people are so eager to point out her past but she doesnt often other people under the bus .. their mistakes. callie is my favorite character next to stef, AJ .

noo it's waay deeper THAN SAVING PPL she does not care there is difference between helping ppl and being reckless, calloe is reckless helping AJ is saving someone, helping her transgender friend that cool but that was just stupid b honest callie though she would not get adopted so she did n't care and was like screw it ,and she expected stef 2 save her she cannot keep doing that! she just barely ESCAPED PRISON REALLY come on no excuses she was just upset because she was affraid she would not get adopted lena helps ppl maranna and jude help ppl and when marianna does something dumb or reckless they get on to her about it they have been letting callie get away with 2 much....and she should say thank u stef callie needs 2 get herself together....

I understand that Callie wants to help people but you cant help everyone you just have to let things be. She really needs to start to value her life more. One day she is not gonna be lucky enough to just walk away. She always gets herself into problems because of her huge heart, but you just have to sit back and let things play out how they were meant to.

I loved this scene when I first saw it because yes Callie did a brave thing and saved lives. But what Stef said was spot on. One day her body will be in the morgue if she didn’t stop and think. I thought yes finally a break through but nope she went right back to poor me, taking Stef’s words out of context to justify her going back to her poor me self.

Ever stop to consider that maybe, in that moment with Diamond and Christina, Callie wasn't seeing Christina, she was seeing Jude? She was seeing someone younger than her scared and in danger and did the one thing she knows how to do: sacrifice herself. Anybody else but me think that Callie definitely had undiagnosed (or was it disgnosed?) PTSD?
