This game got me most from Anno series. I love 1404 and 1800 but this was always incredibly catchy setting for me, just love this game and wish they come up with another futuristic Anno in the future

Totally there with you pal! I’m also hoping in a 1900s Anno, nuclear science dawn, great democracies and world wars era, that’d be great; they would totally have to rethink the combat aspect though.

@@dr_Dario I thought that Anno about current age would be something totally new and very cool. But future setting like interstellar project/terraforming mission etc would be winner for me. I always wished Surviving Mars had graphics and tone of Anno 2205. Pity that Mars DLC was scrapped and never happened for this game.

@@dr_Dario They can't make 1900s Anno, as the SUM of all numbers in its name must equal 9, (Anno 1404, 1800, 2205, 2070, etc, they all have their sum total of 9). So... yea, you won't see it because of their naming system. Welp you.

This game was NEATO. I don't care that it's not really an Anno game in logistics or sandbox. Number went up and hope was high. Such a pleasant experience

God, I wanted to love this game. Even when I was still playing Anno 2070, I thought to myself: "This game would be great in a Moon colony, possibly Mars." And a week later Anno 2205 came out. But the game style just didn't do it for me. The military missions were tedious and as soon as I started to build a colony on the Moon, the game became hideously tedious, I was basically running out of everything and just struggling to keep everything in black. Looking forward to seeing this series, maybe I'll see what I was doing wrong and might actually get back to this game.

Ahh, I see what you're saying, totally. What keeps me from playing it more instead it's its repetitiveness: as you can see I'm on veteran, but having nailed the core mechanics I'm not struggling at all; almost like there's a set up pathway you got to follow already... which there kinda is, indeed. Graphics, OCD satisfaction and the whole concept of the game compensate it all though! :)

Just one question for everyone... I'm playing thick game on veteran and at one point everything went to red all routes stop working and it bancrupts me.. any help will be nice

Make sure your crucial technologies are working in the nexus: happened to me once I moved some stuff and wasn't getting enough astronauts in a sector so expertise lowered and deactivated some tech. Some other possible explanations are energy shortages on the Moon caused by missing fusion cells or their precursors, or an invasion somewhere crucial... Really hard to tell, I should check the save myself to answer properly.

I wanted and tried to like this game. My problem is that the buildings look too plain and alike. The ports can not be placed anywhere but must be placed in designated areas. And the requirements to upgrade are too much for me. And I could never ever figure out that orbital station.

Agreed, it can be pretty strict requirements and variation wise; if you wrap your head around that though, it can be a lot of fun! Not trying to convince you here, just sharing what’s my experience. Orbital station can be tricky for a first timer: needs a bit of study to get the core mechanisms!

Î realy loves this game and spend a lot of time in it, but what stops me from replaying it is the share market. i cant focus on anything until the share market is finished, and its not even a challenge, its just annoying. because u have basicly unlimited money, u just import from the world market and sell it to the vendor at the same time. its just a lot of clicking and ur rich..

Lol the stock market really can be tricky, it was for me at the beginning until I finally grasped the core of it and started taking it more chill; As for the world market cheese yes, it can be op but since I don’t like that I just force myself not to use it that way. Also don’t you love seeing your massive production supplying your empire?! Cmon!

Anno 2090 is a much better game, set in the future. Anno 2205 is just extremely pretty, its not a good game.

That’s true only if you created yourself expectations based on the previous titles, which is totally fair for you to have had. Imhu 2205 is just a completely diverging game, with its goods and its bads. Doesn’t even really make sense that much to compare.

2205 is the worst of the Anno games, imo. You'll understand why, in time. Followed by 2070, then Anno 1800, and 1404 is last as best in the series, in my opinion. Hope you do the others, and thus understand why I've ranked them so. Anyway, have fun. This merely my opinion, and thus is utterly subjective.

I played them all, at different levels of difficulty also going for different strategies, so I know already why would you rank them so; I don’t feel like I agree though: I’d rather say 2205 is not a real Anno, I’d give you that, merely considering how goods are handled and the absence of a real sandbox mode. But I love the concept of the game, its vibes, graphics and soundtrack never really stop to amuse me, even with it being so damn repetitive as you got to follow the campaign each time idk it’s just really addictive and I feel the urge to play it again after few months lol Appreciate you stating your position about the game though!
