As far as I understand , God commanded to kill all breathing creatures in the land of Canaan and the seven nations (which israel inherited) without any trace. And the method of negotiation for war applies to any people except the seven nations which the israel. is going to occupy. Deuteronomy 20:16-18 Kindly clarify.
