Thank you for your countdown! I love my Santini Libra Cappuccino. I have a medium italic cursive nib on it. It‘s lovely. Compared to a lot of other companies in the same price range, I find that Santini goes the extra mile. That Nautilus P.M. is gorgeous! I‘m also pleasantly surprised by the Chinese penmakers. I love that they make fun writing affordable to the masses - that was the original idea behind Bauhaus design as well. To make functional design for everyone.

I've greatly enjoyed all of your reviews & especially all of your "Best of" videos. I've collected a LOT of pens in 2023 & for 2024 I'm planning to only pick up a few special pens from brands I don't yet have, like Leonardo & Benu. I may also branch out into learning how to restore vintage pens since those have been some of my very favorites last year.

I was thinking about saving up for the DV Oversize, since I'm about to pull the trigger on a Custom 845, but I might snag the #1 pen to hold me over until then. Had a grand time watching all these best of year videos. Grazie Mille!

I am tempted everyday by the BIG REAL ONE. My wife and kids know exactly what to buy for my birthday. I wonder if the price will go down on pre-owned versions now that its back? I have been living with the next big thing for a while now. First, I bought the Martemodena DV (see my video) and then the DV Premiere. The REAL ONE will come.

I couldn't even begin to pick a pen of the year, from my pen collection. There are too many variables to factor in. For build quality, reputation, use of precious metals, and writing; it would be the Pelikan M800. But for their use of unique resins, history, and writing quality; Leonardo. For sheer energy and innovation, as well as writing smoothness and dependability; Nahvalur. I do think their pens have some of the best finishes, on the market. Benu is always a strong contender, for their dependable Schmidt nibs, new releases, and sparkle.For the element of surprise and delight, Hongdian and Asvine take the prize, with Kaigelu in the runner up spot. Leonardo is fast becoming my very favorite pen brand. Have you seen the Nebulosa Laguna? Mine arrives tomorrow.

Interesting comments. Here is how I plan to approach 2024: 1. Chinese pens: at the price I will buy as they come out, if the pen interests me or my viewers. 2. More expensive pens: Unless the price is right, I will do my best to hunt down the bargains and not be tempted to buy as they come out. After all when I buy a pen its forever and not just for the days or weeks after they come out. 3. I will give priority to adding brands that I have yet to really enjoy: Pelikans, Sailors, Pilots, Lotus, Pineider 4. For my Italian pens: I will try the impossible: I need to find bargains for Aurora, Asc Simone, Scribo

Very nice video and collection for 2023. One Suggestion i have: Can you make a video of your all time top 10 on an yearly or periodic basis? You can change the list if some pen/s gets replaced with a new enterant in the lastest video :).

I'm usally not driven to pay extra prices by "special" acrylics but that London Pen Co looks absolutely fantastic, I should consider one 👍 Santini has always been my grail brand, but unfortunately being currently unemployed I couldn't profit on the current ridiculous Euro exchange rates, but this year I'll finally get one for sure 😌

That exchange rate is even worse for us Canadians, not to mention the sales tax and custom duties that get tagged on to any purchases. Yet I receive Chinese pens with no shipping or custom duties and they now deliver to my door.

After watching your list of Indian pens, I am seriously considering getting the ebonite version of the Splendor. I think the N10 is great. The nib is superb. But I also think the D1 is also great. Lastly, I love my Leonardo MZG with the Elastic nib.
