Hey Flinter, a good spot for foxes (or raccoon dogs/common raccoon) is that little lake south-east on Saltzwisen. I put a stand on the top of the hill, and get around 5/6 on the drinktime. The airgun is good due to the distances.

Tahr is so much harder , Fox have a drink time and there are ways to grind them somewhat efficient
