Hey, just wanted to say how impressed I am with everything that you have accomplished so far. The amount of hard work that you appear to do is also very impressive. That is a lot of hard work, moving the logs around, the stones that you have moved, etc... Also, i think that once you hit "critical mass" that is when the park is in a condition that you could have visitors to the park you could have a "working weekend" or 2 where fellow enthusiasts could come to the park and really get shyte done! You don't know what kinds of skills or resources that could turn up or become available. When I was a kid and did not yet have a rc buggy (or any rc cars/trucks/planes...) i used to go by this one particular park and it was hilly and winding and seemed huge and I would just sit around and dream about rippin' around with a rc car. Took a few years until I got my first used Kyosho Land Jump 4WD buggy - better known as a self destructing vehicle with an AM radio with zero failsafe and you guessed it, that thing ran away from me every single time I took it out! Anyway I got to do it and more and as I grew up and finally got some money so I could get some solid Truggies which I have always greatly appreciated that I could afford one. i still look back at the times in the fall of the year driving around with my best friend, laughing our rears off and having an awesome time, what a great bunch of memories! Keep up the great work and I can't wait to see what this looks like later this year or a year from now. Cheers!

I noticed the same thing when I moved from Philly to TN Country. People are super chill unlike rich snobby suburbia. My neighbor and I created some off road trails between our two properties and one of the farmers down the road said I could walk the trails on their property anytime. Country neighbors are way better than upscale suburbia.

If you don't already have power, get more time there by building a DIY creek hydroelectric generator, getting a small battery and inverter (maybe find a battery sponsor in return cool advertising). Then you can power your PC for editing and power tools for working on the site, perhaps even home some of your pets in a makeshift shack ;-)

Having or renting a chipper would allow you to make mulch for the paths with the smaller wood that you cut.

@axemanarbor3 сағат бұрын
@BOTGRINDER please be safe out there. Them chippers are real dangerous if you dont know them and haven't been taught right. I really hope an arborist with a chipper n excavator with grabs can help out for a bit. It will absolutely smash it.
@axemanarbor3 сағат бұрын
Send out a post to all the local arborists that they can dump their mulch there when they need to. You will get mulch for free to keep the weeds down. Believe me this could really help. Arborists need dumping spots close to their jobs. It saves them driving for miles to dump which is hours lost. You will get to know them and there has to be a smart young fella arborist that does fpv that would want to help. Shoot im fkng old n if I was in your country I would love to help out. Anyway good luck 👍 just ring up all the local ones n tell them where its ok to dump. Tell them what your about. They are always happy to have another dump spot. Tell them you will take palm mulch , whatever as long as its mulch. NO LOGS N SHYT

Have you tried reaching out to any arborist companies to see if they would take the trees down for free or minimal cost in trade being able to keep the wood? I do landscaping and tree removal and most tree companies don't want to be bothered with younger forests bc they can't get board wood out of smaller trees. With the easy access though there's a good shot that someone local would do it if they kept the wood for firewood in exchange
