Of course it's a private matter, so it's fully understandable if you don't whant to share this kind of info on the channel. Anyway, thanks a lot for your great videos!

Hi Tobias, thank you for you videos. They pushes me to build a bike from scratch. You've mentioned this frame wad on your list, could you please share hownyou list of recommended/considered frames looks like? Thank you!
@ridesofjapan Жыл бұрын
There’s no list… but back then I had a few specific things I wanted. 1. Internal cable routing (that still allowed be to use my own stem). 2. Reasonable weigh (~800g) 3. No dropped seatstays. 4. Standard seatpost. 5. Nice color. The Aurum ticked all the boxes except no5 back then before the white was released, and they where not shipping here it internationally at that time. So trek emonda was the other option only missing the standard seatpost, but that was a compromise I was willing to make.

@st3rius2 жыл бұрын
@@ridesofjapan Thanks for pointing me in that direction. I've just watched Sugino's product videos - the Sugino BB is machined slightly smaller than the BB shell and relies on the rubber gasket ring to take up the space - I wonder if this is a better system than the Token and Hambini who machine their BBs to tighter tolerances.
