I've been using Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance, Oppression, Surveillance, and Brutal Strength, along with Paint Thinner and Nancy's Masterpiece to be able to teleport super often and very fast to dropped dream pallets.

Couple matches as the new Freddy myself, and here's what I gathered about the dream pallets. Kinda like hag with constantly pressing the teleport button, when not in chase, he spamming the place pallet button everywhere. It will place them all over the map. It may not hurt a survivor, but it will definitely scare them away. Also, place pallets at bottleneck areas when possible, as it forces survivors to run into them.

So they said they removed the ability to drop pallets that were mid-burst (shaking animation started) but I played several games where not only were they dropped, but the pallet never burst. We need to report this as a bug so they fix it

Regarding dream pallets, I find it best to set them off as the survivor is running into them

You aren't using the dream pallets correctly. You need to be placing them as much as possible when you have downtime and place them in god pallet spots. In Badham, there were two great spots in the main building. Also sometimes the value from the pallets isn't using them to get hits but rather zoning survivors and making them lose distance. Also a lot of people don't know that you won't get damaged when awake, so it can still deter some awake survivors. I recommend playing on RPD if you want a lot of pallet value, as it has a ton of good pallet spots they must go through.

@@AirLight1646 problem- if they’re running to a place where there wasn’t a pallet to begin with, they were gonna get hit by you anyway. I can see maybe one situation in 10-15 games where that could get value. Outside of that, it seems far safer to just ignore that part of the power completely.
