The Freedom Charter adopted on this day 60 years ago

Friday 26th June 2015 marks 60 years since the adoption of the Freedom Charter. The ten clause document was adopted in Kliptown, Soweto in 1955 where celebrations will take place. The anniversary comes as the ANC declared 2015 " The year of the Freedom Charter"...owl.li/OPovX

“When the ANC finally came to power after democratic elections in 1994, the new Constitution of South Africa included many of the demands of the Freedom Charter. It addressed directly nearly all of the demands for equality of race and language, but made no reference to nationalisation of industry or redistribution of land which were outlined in the charter.” This is from Wikipedia and without a citation, so I’m not sure how accurate.
