Man this makes me miss playing french horn. I forgot what I was missing out on. I haven't done any french horn work in almost two years because of the number of surgeries I've had in the last little while and the constant recovery process means I can't pick up my instrument. I didn't realize how big of a part of me it was. You are very skilled sir, I am just overcome with so much emotion when I listen to you play.

What about the extra percussion parts? What do you use? What music notation software do you use? Do you just sore it all out, then mute the horn parts and play along to the percussion? The percussion pars sound great that's why i'm asking.@@Marc_Papeghin

@@joshcool9427 The percussion parts are the last things that I add, once all of the horns are recorded. I either play them on the keyboard or program them in MIDI. And my notation software is Sibelius ;)

Well I've been playing for almost 30 years now (I started at 8) and I've always loved to play pieces which were not written for the horn (like violin, piano concertos, guitar solos...) And so while practicing these I ended up developping my high register :)
