Je me suis bien amusé!

I dislike infotainment, but this video is quite a stroke of genius nonetheless. Bad Romance, with it's dark techno-industrial beat and it's harrowing dread and doom voicing is a perfect backdrop for a theme as harrowing as the French Revolution. Kudos to whoever made this video, they deserve all the million and a half views of it.

This is the best video parody by the historyteachers duo, for the following reasons: 1) good historical detail, 2) the additions of famous art works, historical documents, and live action scenes depicting the historical period are well interspersed with Amy Burvall''s performance (not always the case in other videos; see the Blondie "Call Me" parody on Charlemagne, for example), 3) great matching of the rhythms of the song with the wording of the concepts, people and events. My hat is off to these teachers! Thanks so much for giving us your colleagues these wonderful resources!
