back in the days the s35ca had a 105mm long gun, so pretty acurate. It was basicaly the bathtub version of the su100 but a tier lower.

That gun was a wn8 machine. I remember doing 3 shots of damage and I had like 2000 wn8. The tier 5 was absolute paper, so you would blow up in seconds after being detected but the insane penetration could butcher even tier 8 tanks.

The S35 CA used to have a 105mm gun. The same one on the ARL V39. It was so fun back in the day to rush to the frontline and brawl, doing easy 1k dmg

It's amazing seeing two friends like you guys having so much fun playing this game. Me and my buddy used to have a lot of fun playing it but over the years the game got so much worse that it became a constant stream of screaming our hatred at each other. So we quit WoT and just play fun games again.

I remember a common wisdom about this line from almost a decade ago - their aimtime is so bad with the top gun, that by the time you're fully aimed the enemy has left your 10 degrees of gun traverse and you have to move again

This video was very cool to watch as the french TD tech tree was the first tech tree that I played until the tier X years ago. I'll give you my point of view (it was when I was a beginner tho, so take this in count). Tier IV : Somua Sau 40 : Yeah, bad tank, bad gun, bad mobility, bad armor, bad camo, there's nothing to save on this tank, I also hated it. Tier V : S35 CA : One of my favourite tank in the whole game, years ago it has the strong 105mm gun that was really fun to play. Well even if WG removed it, I still like the S35 CA, the last games I did with it one month ago were great and with a friend we made a great carry + win, anyway I love the 90mm gun so I still play with it. A friend of me (in the past, I didn't had news about him in a while) learned me about this tank's nickname, the bathtub, in french, La Baignoire, this makes me laughs so much, I think you know him, it's fcmf1ishere, is he fine? Long time no see dude, if you see this comment, hope everything is fine in your life and a huge thanks to you, I watch Girls und Panzer only because you told me about this anime, this is my favourite anime of all time now. xD Tier VI : ARL V39 : One of the worst tank I have to played in the past, well I was a beginner, with a stock tank using a tier III gun... I didn't had the tracks, I hated this tank so much. Maybe today I could like it since I'm better than the beginner I was at that time but still, this tank brings me back vietnam flashbacks. Tier VII : AMX AC 46 : I just loved this tank, it was my second tier VII and I really loved it, despite the huge weakspots he have, I managed at that time to use my armor and as you said, it have a great pen. Tier VIII : AMX AC 48 : I also loved this tank, it was my first tier VIII, at that time, it didn't had an autoloader, still it was a fun tank to play. Tier IX : Foch : Ferdinand Foch was a french general of WWI, he is behind the victory of the french army at the battle of the Marne (1914) and was the Supreme Allied Commander in 1918. Anyway, the tank was also very fun to play, my first tier IX tank, I really liked it, well it's just an AC 48 but in tier IX, no autoloader in the past too tho. Tier X : Foch (155) : As you said Edvin, at that time, the tier X was the Foch (155), it was also my first tier X tank and still today, I really like this tank, long reload, but great gun, 293mm pen, 750 dmg, 3 shells in the autoloader, I really like this tank even if I hate the tier X games. Tier X : Foch B : I loved the AC 48, the Foch and the Foch (155), I hated the Foch B, without premium ammunition this tank is really annoying to play especially with the new meta as you said at the end of the video, I really prefer the Foch (155) and I was never agree with people saying that this was a french WT auf E 100, with 257mm pen in tier X, it was painful to play (I don't play with premium ammunition). Bonus : Tier II : FT AC : funny autoloader, but nothing more, well tbh I don't have many memories of this tank. Tier III : Renault UE 57 : funny tank, great gun, fast reload, good dmgs and great camo. Really funny to play and also, very cute tank. Also, I never played the AC 48 and the Foch since their new autoloader gun, maybe one day I'll try again, this would bring me nostalgia lmao.

You should definitely review our Czechoslovakian mediums (do not forget about the tier 3, with its top gun it is absolutely crazy, try it out!). IMO The AMX AC-48 is one of the best tier 8 tech tree tanks. Great burst damage. Great gun for the tier - pens everything. Decent mobility. Even the armour sort of works.

SAu 40 has the highest shell velocity of any derp gun at that tier. It has faster HE shells than some other tanks' AP shells. For comparison, Hetzer's derp is 470 m/s, Valentine AT's is 243 m/s, whereas SAu 40 has 670 m/s for whatever it's worth...

The S35 CA had a very disgusting gun until not too long ago, a 105mm gun with insane penetration and 330 alpha iirc. It was very strong but the platform was bad as hell. Now the platform remains bad but the gun was removed. This whole tech tree isn't the best but in the past the Foch 155 was a monster that could run at almost 60 km/h with great power engine. The low penetration is a pain so I'm not surprised when I see players loading full gold.
