Glad to hear someone mention Berroa. He clearly figured something out last year. He's also a switch hitter. Having that as your leadoff or 9th hitter would be nice with that stolen base speed. We shall see.

Re: George, he clearly needs to make a change with his bat if he's to finish his contract. I'm an idiot but if it's age related (eye or swing speed) to me it starts with tweeking batting stance. I remember cal ripken jr had to make several changes throughout his career to stay relevant in the box. Moving bat onto his shoulder or off his shoulder to change how quick he can swing etc

100% he needs to adjust as he lost some bat speed, but I have no faith in the current coaches to help Springer do this. The hitting coaches we have have been awful the last couple of years as we seen almost everyone on the team decline some.

​@@disaj7460 @disaj7460 Agreed, a run is a run is a run. And with small ball that's all you're playing for. In the above example you'll need someone able to steal based proficiency. Of course you're only going to steal 3rd if there's one out because you don't make the first or last out at 3rd base. A lot of things have to line up for small ball to work.

The anger should be directed towards the batting coaches. Doesn’t anyone see the pattern of good hitters joining the jays, only to crash and burn? Hitting coaches need to be replaced

Maybe you guys can address this. Twice now they have had a camera on pit bulls at blue jays games. The first time was on kids day, I thought they were a banned dog in Ontario last I heard. Maybe Ford lifted that ban. Nevertheless they are a dangerous dog. I would be pissed if I had to sit anywhere near one of those beasts.

This is a case where the most significant move requires ownership to step in.. by way of firing the GM(s).. Springers leash is clearly due to a contractual promise or a nudge nudge wink wink deal. Either way, all avenues point to the GM.. Mr and Ms Roger's.. I hope you/they are watching.. I'm soo mad I'm using pronouns 😠
