3080 ti, i9 12k, 32 gigs RAM. If you want the entire build, let me know. Recently, I had to restrict it to just 60 fps because my recording software couldn't keep up haha

Good question! There are a few reasons, for me personally anyway. If I'm with my friend, he may be hungry or looking for a specific diet for a 50% growth buff. Also, it can be quite a while before there is another opportunity to eat. Depending on the server population at the time. I try my best not to kill senselessly. (Unless I'm killing a carno 😂)
