You know, after seeing Imaginary Friends asylum, I can see these imaginary friends didn't start out evil. It was the malpractice and experimentation done on the kids that made them like this. They were essentially connected to their psyches, so of course, they would become warped from the abuse. Even from the little bit from the demo. With the imaginary friends I grew up with, this is just sad for me

Based on his ability to see the IF, his reaction to see the letter young Anthony wrote to his parents unsent, Pooky's "So you've returned." and "You can't run away this time." lines, it's safe to assume we play as Anthony. His name wasn't listed with the missing kids.
