There’s times I miss the friends I had There’s times I’m glad they’re gone But I can’t explain the feelin’ Of how I watched you all move on There’s days when I forget myself I don’t feel like a man When my body’s full of alcohol And I’m sleepin’ in the van And my head aches And my heart breaks For you There’s times when I’m remembering When I was 17 Man, I should’ve gone to college Things are looking up for me If every day could take away The pain that I have found Then I close my eyes And walk outside Hear my favorite sound And my head aches And my heart breaks For you The hope I gave That fades away It’s really not that hard to say You’ll miss when your body aches And you’re livin’ all alone There's one thing that I need to do I'm tryin’ to sell out I could finally pay my rents on time The kids could shut their mouths It's not you, it's me It's getting hard to breathe Let's just keep on talkin’ All about me It's not me, it's you It's more than I can chew And I don't know what to do And I don't know what to do And my head aches And my heart breaks And my head aches And my heart breaks For you Overwhelming I'm not saying I have come of age Everybody Keeps on telling Me to make a change What's the issue If I miss you Wish that I could stay What's the point If I'm annoyed I have come of age And my head aches And my heart breaks And my head aches And my heart breaks And my head aches (Head aches) And my heart breaks (Heart breaks) And my head aches (Head aches) And my heart breaks (Heart breaks)

I just want to take this moment to gush about the guitar riff at the end. In a such a melancholy song, full of so much sadness in confusion, there's always gonna be those moments where it all falls away, and you just get to feel alright. Gotta cherish those moments.

I'm 27, doing well financially, and my investments are compounding nicely. I should be a millionaire in my 30's. Though, the line "There’s times when I’m remembering , When I was 17 Man, I should’ve gone to college" Hit's hard , because I had to work extremely hard for my money. (Heavy Labor)

This song hits hard, especially knowing it's only the beginning of this since I'm a sophomore (hs) and that there are many, many more years to come and many more friends to lose.

The wise kitty focused not on all that is lost, but all that remains. Everything is temporary and time is fleeting. Live in the moment. Be grateful and cherish what ever you have no matter how little it is, or else moments of pure joy and bliss will pass you by and you won’t even notice. Only enjoying the good times in hindsight is the saddest thing in the world.

whats fucking amazing js that zac from FIDLAR produced this whole album, and about this song the singer did it while he was drunk and sad one night in the middle of the night zac said himself. Zac made him do it haha, hes the one who got him drunk

@luciam16743 жыл бұрын
you're 15 now, but i hope you know the next three years are your childhood too. i'm 18, almost 19, and i felt the same way you did when you were 14. and what i've learned is you can always go back to your "childhood" when you're older. it's not over. the measurement of time is fake and you can always circle back to the things you missed.

@dianarappa24122 жыл бұрын
@@luciam1674 I’m almost thirty now, And I miss feeling the way you guys feel. It’s just becomes and obvious, numbing experience, you make friend and you loose them, some of my friend are dead, some of them are on drugs. Some of them are still my friends, some are on the bend or trying to make amends and some friends are just bound to end. Forever endure, and remember, passion, and emotion, these are the driving forces for those experiences you won’t forget. I often rémanence with friends I didn’t make untill I was across the country and was in my early twenties, about those times we had, and some times it’s even better to hear others experiences than to remember you own. Cheers. I love you all. ❤️

this song reminds me of when I would play sports and was one of the best players on every team I joined, but I got a bad coach and my home life was shit so I no longer had an escape from life so I started to get into drugs. I was showing up to practice high I was skipping cause I was hungover I was selling games back to back, i wasnt mvp anymore, so I got kicked off the team. And now ima druggo if I’m being honest, I wish this nightmare would just stop.
