this was such an amazing fight - and in game, it actually was the plan. the demon Yenk had swallowed a vestige and they used a high level spell to Gate him in to fight Vorugal. there, Vorugal was able to fly and keep away from the demon, so it was awesome to see Yenk get his licks in. it ended the same way (absent the vestige.)

In the campaign they wanted something to fight or at least distract Vorugal. And they knew the name of this demon that had a vestige in it's stomach. So they summoned Yenk, softened up the dragon, and got a vestige delivered to them. Vex did get the final shot, and making trees grow from the corpse was just something her bow Fenthris can do. I was waiting for this fight since the Kickstarter.

Demon/Devils in d&d can only be killed by just 'killing' them on the mortal plane. Sure Vorugal defeated Yenk, but that will just send him back to Hell. In order to kill Yenk permanantly he would need to be killed in Hell. That's if they didn't change the base d&d stuff for this series. To be fair though they did combine Devils and Demons into one faction.
