Great video! On consumption I like it to read out the consumption every X seconds. I don’t want to fumble with a switch. I do like the idea of using a switch to turn off the alarm.

Yeah, I did that before, but the constant call-outs got a bit annoying for me. That's why I set up the warning. There are so many different ways to program the same thing. That's why I like Frsky (and before, Edge TX). It may be a bit longer to set up, but the flexibility is awesome.

hello unfortunatly the option to change pin6 in my case is not available to change it to s port i'm trying to connect this sensor to a archer R6

Archer R6 is a bit different to the Tandem i showed in the video. The Archer R6 has a multi pin connecter (white) on top of the case. Pin 1 is -, pin 2 is ± and pin 3 is S Port. Connect those three to your sensor. No need to program anything or use a channel.

How precise are these sensors ?

I dont know exactly. I have checked it against a inductive current multimeter and it read less than an amp difference. Couldn't say really... my multimeter that i confirmed it against was a cheapy. But for my usage, it seemed pretty good.

On that plane around 100a if i remember correctly... it's been a while

Roughly 1percent deviation! That would be amazing, everything under 5-6% deviation will be sufficinet for my usecase. Thank you@@all_rc

Good morning Sir! hope all is going well. Question i have the x20s and did a update on Ethos Suite. On my FRSKY Temp sensor now are giving correct reading. temp one reading 43F and temp two gives reading 44F. when I go to my other models and it gives same reading. Note the ouside temp is 63f. Do you know anyone had an issues like this. I know its something did most likely. appreciated your help if possible---thanks. Note my current sensor work as it should.

Unfortunately, I do not have experience with their temp sensors. However, if the temp sensor follows the same conventions as their other sensors, they may provide a way to calibrate. In their voltage sensors, they have offset and ratio. Offset if it is constantly a certain number off and ratio if the entire weight is wrong. Might wanna check that.

One more thing, you mentioned you did an update to the radio. Might want to check and see if there was a firmware update to the temp sensor as well

that stinks you have to buy one for each plane. having to un solder your connector sort of stinks. thx for the video.

There are two types of current sensors. The inductance type like I showed, yes, you'll need to desolder your connector to put the sensor. The second type of sensor needs a physical connection, so it is connected between your esc and battery. Looks like an in-line adapter. Frsky (and others) make both versions. Personally, I prefer the inductance type. One less connector in your power system. Another way to get current telemetry is with an esc that has the telemetry built in. Spektrum escs have that, but they only work with Spektrum receivers. Frsky does make a line of ESCs that have Amperage, RPM, etc. telemetry built in. Haven't tried one yet.
