A suggestion. I use a logic switch to enable the red slider be my throttle cut. Being bright red and out of the way of the other switches it seems suitable for throttle cut. All the best. E

Hello and thanks for your videos, they are very useful. I recently bought a Tandem X18 and I would like to understand how best to set the Rssi signal on the Display with the Tbs Crossfire module for long distances and make it warn me when the signal is weak or about to get lost without going into Failsafe . Is all this possible with Ethos? Thank you

I used crossfire a while ago and there are differences in how to determine weak signals. I haven't used crossfire with Ethos so I am unsure as to how it works with crossfire and what is available. If ethos has Telemety data from crossfire, it should be easy enough to display the warnings.

Yes, it really shouldn't be that complicated. I come from an Opensource system like OpenTx, Edge, Freedom.... and it wasn't difficult for me to configure via "logigal switch" and "special function". On Ethos, however, I can't configure it as I would like, with voice alerts. Let me explain, I usually fly FPV drones for long distances with Dji goggles crossing alps, forests and more and I would feel more confident if I could add this function on this magnificent FrSky Tandem x18 Radio.

Thanks for sharing. Please show how did you reach to Throttle Absolute. I do not have (on the X20 RS) all these names, rather I have "throttle active", "throttle hold" .. but no "Throttle absolute". Also, mine gives speech every 30 secs but it doesn't count down the last 10 seconds !! Also I was not able to set this "percent timer" , appreciate it if you will show you did it. It will be helpful too to have the camera on the screen to be able to see better,, Thank you so much

The firmware keeps updating. After 1.5 which was a huge change, they received lots of feedback so the timers have been evolving. Use throttle active. Should work the same way. For the 10s countdown, add a new audio audio action, Type Countdown, Start 00:00:10, Step 1s. For percentage type counter, Under Proportional Timing Source, choose throttle.

I don't think so. I assume you enabled speech to tell you one minute, 30 seconds, etc, but you don't want the 10 second countdown. If that's the case, i believe the 10 second countdown is baked in. If this is an issue for you, you can try and appeal to the guys that program ethos on the github page: github.com/FrSkyRC/ETHOS-Feedback-Community go to the issues tab and search to see if anyone has reported the same thing. If not, you can create a new request.
