I am a man of 65 yrs. This sermon has stabbed so deeply that it persecutes me. Raised in the church, willfully given my soul, spirit, and mind to Christ Jesus. I ache to seek Him yet regard myself with heavy contempt. Wonderfully made, made free and alive in Christ, knowing and understanding the holy word of God, I dare not think highly of myself. I am contemptible but not condemned. By, and through Christ. With verifiable fact, I can point to many times in my life to say, there and here, and here again I should have passed from this mortal body, yet that God kept my life. I did die on the operating table. Then again in a terrible illness. Before those times, I was a small child in a tragic event. I was handed into the exceeding loving, peaceful arms of Jesus, LORD and Christ. Yet I have so often felt, nay, know I am not as I should be in Christ. This powerful sermon has cut into me. I comment here not solely as confession of myself but to wonder who then would this sermon not address? Who is so right that they would honestly say that brother Spurgeon has not here spoken of themselves?

Besure the fruit you think you had was tru fruit of the Holy spirit and learn what regeneration, sanctification is cause the lords spirit doesn't stop working in the Heart and never will leave the tru believer. 16You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. (John:15.16) Amen. 🙏

What do you mean? Are you selfish, unkind, refuse to help someone when they are in need when you can do so? Or do you refuse to encourage others when they are discouraged or facing difficulties? If you are non of these, then you are loving and share the Love of Lord Jesus Christ with others, and this makes you fruitful, AMEN!🙏🏾🤍👂🏾🕊️🙌🏾😇

Salvation does not depend upon ourselves or good works, it only depends on the finished and perfect work of Christ Jesus on the Cross -- Christ died for our sins, shed his blood, was buried, and rose again on the third day. If you were saved to begin with, you stay saved. Saved by grace through Faith, Eph. 2:8-9.
