Such an artistic inspiration for this scent. I guess when they were playing chess, Jan's grandfather must have been wearing Aventus even before it was invented.

Just picked up a 20ml of this today. On first sniff I knew I'd finally found something that could live up to my 2013 bottle of Aventus. All the hysteria around batches with Aventus is a big turn off as a consumer. I'll be glad to have Morning Chess as an option moving forward. All pineapple and smokiness. Amazing stuff!

I agree with your review. It is a fruity batch of Aventus and a smoky drydown. I would to try Chicago High which is tobacco vibe. Perfect for fall and winter

I have always been curious as to whether there has been a fruitier alternative to Aventus without shoveling out an arm and a leg. This sounds like this fragrance could be up my alley. Thanks again for another great video, Mr. Daver!!!

Vilhelm is nice. That basilica one is disgusting tho and mango skin overpowered.
