Gerard also knew something didn't make sense about Detective Kelly proclaiming how Richard killed Helen just 2 claim her beneficiary insurance money. Richard and Helen were clearly happy together and I tend 2 wonder why Helen's family didn't help Richard in his time of need. Helen's family could believe that Helen wasn't killed by her own husband.

I love this scene as it gives some insight into the mind of Sykes who seems to have enjoyed some glory in his past but has fallen on hard times and is looking for a way back up any means necessary.

Dr Nichols really messed up by not paying off Sykes and sending him away to like another country. Especially when he found out that Richard escaped and was looking for the killer.
@DMalltheway2 жыл бұрын
Nichols was arrogant and didn’t think there was a chance Kimble was going to find out before he got caught. Too much pride.

What I like in this scene is its ironic side. Sykes killed Richard's wife without breaking into his house and here, Kimble who is innocent breaks into his apartment. Kind of revenge !

what else is ironic is when Nichols is revealed 2 be a traitor just like Felix Cortez and Secret Service Agent Gibbs.

There's a possibility that they knew Sykes was the culprit but instead, decided to frame Kimble to protect one of their own.

Megs Smart Thinking Hi, Smart, can't believe no one's replied to your inquest about The Fugitive. It was a cult-popular show in the 1960's. The fugitive story is about a guy who is wrongly convicted of murdering his wife. He eludes police while looking for the guy who actually did it, a one-armed man. The fugitive walks with a limp he acquires during the chase. In the movie version, Harrison Ford plays the Chicago doctor whose wife is murdered and Tommy Lee Jones plays the lead marshall on the case. The settings, twists, turns, and performances are utterly brilliant ... beyond exciting and satisfying. This is One Great Movie.
