Dude I was a Sony shooter for YEARS and not that I’ve got any beef with Sony but I just needed a change. With that being said Fuji has always intrigued me but nothing hooked me to get me to pull the trigger...until the 16mm 1.4. Bought my XT-4 with the 16mm 1.4 and now I’m dual slinging my Sony A7RIV w/ 85mm 1.4 on one arm and the XT-4 w/ 16mm 1.4 on the other arm while I’m shooting weddings. It’s an unconventional killer combo. Great content keep up the good work!

Wow, that’s a sick combo!! The 16 is a dream! I had the a6000 years ago and that’s as far as I went with Sony, haha!! I wanted the A7iii so bad but found Fuji. I I fell in love:)

The Bee shot was great. I had the Sigma 16 f/1.4 when I had a Sony A6000 and a guy I barely know entrusted me with his Fuji 16 f/1.4 for a few weeks back in 2019. It's funny, when I shot Sony, I didn't appreciate the 16mm (24-equivalent FL) as much -- now I'd have to say the Fuji 16 would be the first lens I'd buy if zooms ceased to exist. I have the 16-55 f/2.8 so I haven't gotten the 16 yet.

It's late. Too late in the day to try the 16 on the X-H1 I just grabbed with all the extras at my cafe today. 700 and it's mint. Box, manuals, chargers... As like all of us, poking around the house with the ibis on, ibis off, ibis on...but not yet trying the 16. I did try the 16-50 3.5 on it, and everything got completely confusing. I still like that lens. Center sharpness is just excellent. Combo of both their ibis and ois...crazy...

Thanks for the comment! The 16mm 1.4 is amazing for video and photos. You can even do portraits with it. It is great for vlogging and pro video work. A really great combo would be the 16 and the kit lens 18-55. If you only had two lenses, this could be a great little set up! Keep shooting!! JB

The best thing about this lens u fail to mentioned. Yes it s got 1.4, but more importantly it has very short minimum focus distance, combining these two together, u can make a very unique look.

Hi Ming! I actually mentioned that the close focused distance is how I got that dead bee in the rose shot. The close focusing is amazing! I haven’t shot with my 16 mm in a couple of months. You just inspired me to pull it out and go out and shoot with it today! Thanks Ming! Don’t be shy to call me out when I’ve forgotten something. It makes us both better! Believe it or not, I got this from a camera store used. They had it there for $500. I looked at it and asked if there were any functional issues. They said no, no just a few little scratches. It literally looked like someone used it a few times. I told them to hold it. I came the next day and bought it. The best $500 I’ve ever spent:) Thanks for the follow!!!:)

@@sergiovillasano3407 Hi Sergio! If it’s online there are a lot of options. You can do eBay but you’re taking a chance. You could find that sweet deal but you don’t know if everything works great. Precision camera online, Borrow lenses has used gear. Also contact your local camera store. I’ve gotten some really great used gear for great prices and they will have the lens or camera inspected and tuned up before they resell it. Let me know what you get!! JB
