Just started watching your channel these past few weeks, and it's now probably my favourite detailing channel on youtube, l have learnt more watching your video's than any others, love all the start to finish video's, and how you talk your way through it, some detailers on here don't tell much, but you tell all, i just like everything you do in general, keep it up bud.

Man, Thank you and a shout out to Pan the Organizer who turned me onto you; grateful to Pan and grateful to you. I've seen a couple of the full videos in this series. The one on applying the sealant and wax (Jescar & Collinite 845) I have watched a couple of times. While it takes a while, there is so much to be learned in your conversation with the audience as you go along. I learn from you and can go about what I have to do with great confidence. All the best and best of success in your business.

Thanks for making this video Matt. Haven’t had time to watch the full series so this 20 minute summary is perfect

Great 20 minute video Matt! Between my copious notes taken during all of your Decontamination Videos, rewatching all of those video before and during my Decontamination of my BMW 435i and this Video, my next Decontamination will be flawless! Thanks for the learning experience!

2:39 Sure washing your engine bay wont do anything but its always a good idea to take out the ignition coils and spark plugs to get the water out of there but even if you don't' you don't theres not really any downsides since all cylinder heads these days are aluminum but sparkplugs do rust when water seeps in but people replace those anyways so its not a long term issue. I always do it this way because no matter how tight the seal is for the coils, water always seeps in.

I've watched almost the full detail series on the E92 and thought it'd be nice to watch this as a quick summary. I found myself strangely full of anxiety trying to keep up... Reminded me of being a bar or two behind the music trying to keep up... Anxiety overload! Haha. I'm sure this is a perfect video for most though. Thanks for taking the time to make this cut Matt, I'll be sure to stick to the full series from here out!

It’s been a week since I finished the Decontamination process. Did the 1st wash early this morning. After blow drying and then towel drying applied Bead Maker. Will be garage for the next 18 hours. First impression 1 hour after application, WOW! Spending 3 days doing your total Decontamination process well worth the effort!

Yeah, it's pretty legit.

Top tip Matt - in your 'box off' bin, spray the plastic bag down with some water/apc. this will help the dust created to stick to the side within the bin rather than the dust pluming out of the bin such as at 9:15 (perhaps like the comment so he see's it?) Also, thanks for this 20 minute summary! it's worth the effort and I think is the content you need to grow the channel i.e. just opening up to a new audience who want to see the process but are not so interested in the extensive detail we enjoy from your longer videos!

Great job Matt!! Awesome video and precise editing. To the point on all steps with just enough info. Perhaps I may have missed it but if I didn’t, maybe adding the polisher speeds, pressure applied through each section or on specific issues with the paint would be very helpful! All said though love the new format. Keep it up.
@Audittr21086 жыл бұрын
Nice editing although I’m happy sitting through hours! What would have been great was after you showed us what you were dealing with on a section of paint, to see it again after you had corrected it. A few shots of the finished car would have been great too.

Hey Matt! Looks great! Question: why don’t you use a machine to apply sealant/wax? Question2: you said the Jescar only lasts a month, aren’t sealants supposed to last longer? Or maybe I heard you wrong?

13:50 Hey Matt you would be surprised at how good correcting underneath door handles by hand works, removing the door handles would be pointless unless your getting paid very well too, next time just grab a 2” megs MF cutting pad or MF towel and some compound and rub it out and then follow up with a polish and you will be amazed with the results.
@ObsessedGarage6 жыл бұрын
I did that for about 15 minutes. It's didn't do enough on this one.

Looking forward to these condensed videos for the 1M and M5 too eventually. It's a nice quick reference for those of us that learn from your process. (PS - Let me know when you get an ultimate solution for correcting the Shadowline trim. I've got a love/hate relationship with that stuff.)

@@ObsessedGarage Did you do a one step with an mf pad?
if you get sick of this you should get a RS3. Those things move and have a nice aftermarket for them
@ObsessedGarage6 жыл бұрын
That is a completely different driving experience. I haven't driven an RS3, but I suspect it's just like the other AWD Audis. The steering and handling on those cars doesn't do it for me.
