Thing is, it isn't reallly in your control once you fall in love, that person in front of you becomes your whole world, and when you are truly in love you keep your ego aside and try everything from your side to keep them in your life. Ross and Rachel are my favorite couple, not only of Friends, but also of all time. I know they are not perfect and some people can be bored with their “will they won’t they “ story. But for me, this was never a problem, because I supported them from the first to the last episode. And alright, they were not stable as Chandler and Monica, but who cares ? They show that a relationship is not a bed of roses and love can be dangerous and complicated, and sometimes, you have to fight for it. You have to fight really hard to finally get right. I love Ross and Rachel’s story, because as complicated as it can be, show us if you find the right person, you’re gonna love her forever, no matter what. In the end, we saw Phoebe was right: they are each other’s lobsters and they were mean to be together.

Exactly. Roschel is the.most realistic couple ever. Mondler didn't even feel real. Coz they were too perfect. Life isn't that perfect. For everyone that's a Ross hater, let me just say this: He was jealous. He was in fear of losing someone he loved. No one should act like that. Try and make it up. But, it's a *two-way street* . You can't just look at Ross, you got to look at Rachel too. The times he tries to talk to her, she's busy. He panics in those times because, he's jealous. Now, about the break thing because I personally think that it was both their fault (I always will). They're the ones in the relationship, so they *both* caused the duress. He wanted to make up with her so he called but heard Mark on the phone, the guy he's been envious of since the problems started, alone with her. So, what else was he supposed to think? So; there you go, Ross is terrible because he acted like he owned her. But, again, it's a two-way street. You didn't think Rachel was jealous either? Everytime Ross tried to finally get over her, Rachel would ruin it because of her residual feelings. Bonnie, Emily, etc. Obviously, this "toxic relationship" came from them still having those feelings for each other. They never got over each other obviously. I mean, they got married and pregnant while drunk. And, this was smart show-wise. It makes the show more attractive giving the audience something to root for. It's a perfect "will-they-won't-they" relationship. So yeah, that's my essay.

Rachel never directly interfered with his job or his relationships. At her worst, she tried to manipulate his relationship with Julie and Bonnie, but in the end she didn't manage to do anything in a direct way. The Emily thing, she literally just showed up at the wedding. The Julie thing, she tried to make him not have sex with her but that didn't work. I been rewatching Friends lately and I have to said that I love how Ross is in the last seasons. Even if he freaks out at first, he supports Joey when he confesses him that he's in love with Rachel (even with Rachel been pregnant with Ross baby). He handles his break with Mona in a good way, encourage and support Rachel during her pregnancy and even agrees with no date anybody so he can be at Rachel's disposal 24/7. Later, when Charlie came up, he helps Joey in his relationship with her (encourage Charlie to give Joey a chance and help Joey to plan a Date that Chalie would like). After Charlie and Joey break out, Ross decides don't go further with Charlie until talk with Joey as he wants to make things right. Once again, he freaks out when discovers Rachel and Joey kissing, but at the end, he accepts their relationship and ensure Joey they will always be friends. He handles his breakup with Charlie even better that he did with Mona, it's a great coparent with Rachel, makes an effort to became friends with Mike and even get to a point when he is comfortable with joking about his divorces. I know its "popular" to hate on Ross, but at the end I think he did grow up and became the best possible partner for Rachel and the best Dad Emma could have.
