The entire concept of Sirens could be it's own standalone franchise. Books, games, deep lore and history, etc. It has always bugged the crap out of me that they have never dug into it at all. This massive and interesting sounding thing is simply relegated to a character class and in Angel's case, plot device.

Kain Dragoon Lilith Maya Angel (deceased) Commandant Steele (deceased) Amara (BL3 Siren) Tyreen (BL3 Antagonist) And this is just a theory but the small girl seen with Maya in the new gameplay of 3 (and some art) I believe she might be a siren also, so 4 are currently existing possibly 5

im playing B2 as the siren and the phaselock sucks, even powered up its not that good but there are other things to powerup which makes her strong

Actually only Lilith seems to be influenced/enhanced by eridium- neither Commander Steele nor Maya used eridium, although it's possible it could still have an effect on them...

they kind of magic-wand waved it away in the plot. It's likely eridium does affect most/all Sirens likely in the same way as Lilith, i.e, boosting their power in some capacity at a cost of dependency.

We don't know much about the endgame except through inference. But, likely, it will be much, much different than Destiny 2.... ie you will actually play the game.
